What can anyone say when you have a meal that leaves you speechless at the table, all the way from the chicken and shrimp fettuccine Alfredo to the pita bread and cheese butter platter and ending at the Peruvian style fried rice everything was exceptional and perfectly cooked.

It was so nice to come to an authentic style restaurant and have the waitress educate us on how her dad makes the food while we waited for our order.

His daughter was so kind and polite as well as informative and patient with us while we were looking over the menu and offered to help us find out what options would be best for us.

This is a child, friendly, and easy to find as they had high chairs available for my one year-old niece to use, we dined and kid friendly cups for her to drink out of and not make spills everywhere.

Customer Service and Staff were exceptionally kind and made sure that our orders were correct and fresh to order. I would highly recommend coming here.

This was our first time trying Don Orlando’s, and we were very impressed. I’ve tried a few other Peruvian restaurants in the Chicago area, and this is my new favorite. The lomo saltado was especially good and the ceviche was the best we’ve ever had. In addition, we tried the empanadas, calamari, sweet plantains, and the arroz chaufa de marisco, and all were delicious. We ordered carry out this time, but the staff seemed very friendly. We’ll definitely be back to dine in next time!

Delicious food.
The calamari was really good. Crunchy with a fresh flavor.
My wife order the lomo saltado she said was amazing.
But the ceviche with the arroz con mariscos (sea food rice) was fantastic. Authentic Peruvian flavor if you are in area you should try this.
I can say is the best ceviche in Chicago.
The server was really nice and friendly very attentive.
Don’t loose the opportunity of try their food. You wont regret it.

The food tasted okay. But we found a piece of a sticker in the salad we ordered. When we told the staff, they just said, “Oh, that’s a green pepper sticker,” and asked if we wanted a new one. We said no, but it felt like they didn’t really apologize or take it seriously.

Also, we’ve been waiting for our main dishes for an hour now — and I’m not exaggerating, it’s literally been a full hour. It’s not just us; everyone else here is waiting just as long. I’m never coming back to this place.

A real nice restaurant. We had the lamb chops and chicken pasta dish. The hostess is super friendly. They have a house drink (non alcoholic), I cannot name it but it’s delicious! Only a 3min drive from the Rialto Theater. We ate here before attending a concert. The restaurants only been open for two weeks, I hope that people in the community and visit in the city, we support it. It’s really nice.

The fried rice was good. Not everything we ordered was good. The staff was not helpful and stated they themselves would not eat anything cooked here. Very bizarre. Would not recommend anyone to come here bc of how weird they acted.
