This is now the second time we have come to this place and got horrible service. Took the server way too long to greet us. Then she hounded us to order we ordered or kids food for our daughter first: she came back and again hounded us if we were ready to order. The manager and all the servers sit on there phones absolutely crap service. When asked to eat a smaller portion of a ACP like a kids size but pay an extra fee they denied it said they would give us a smaller portion for the regular fee. The manager came over and was preppy and uppy like he was better than us. Didn’t try to do anything as he should have with being a manager and they snatched out menus up when we said no we didn’t want to order anything else. This is sad because we used to enjoy this place but now 2nd time it’s been a total disappointment maybe tell the staff and manager to get off the phone and learn better customer service skills.
Also kids food came out and was cold and my daughter and I have been sitting with empty drinks for 45 mins. Don’t recommend to eat here. Want good food go to any place but here. Ran by poor management.

Tried to doordash tacos and a quesadilla. Order was canceled by the restaurant and noted that a remake was happening. After the 4th dasher tried to pickup they called to say the restaurant refused to remake the dishes. I called and immediately asked for a manager to actually confirm what was going on. The woman on the phone said there was no manager in, which I find hard to believe. I read off the notification doordash sent me that the restaurant was remaking the order and all I received back were jokes about how the dasher must have ate it. Which, maybe she did, but you guys noted it was being remade sooooo not sure what happened there. Either way, I should have read the last few reviews before ordering from this restaurant. The front of house staff are definitely rude and unprofessional. So sorry to the owner who might be trying to make money on orders. The woman who answered the phone definitely lost a customer for you.

Muy bien!! This place is great!! I was so happy to find real Mexican food in Clayton, NC! The customer service was family style and very respectful. It was clear some people didn’t speak to me because they don’t speak English well, but still did their best to be nice to me and serve me. Being from South Texas, this felt like home. The consomé (basically, a dipping soup) was great! The chicken quesadilla had real cheese (not American cheese), the tacos came with limes, cilantro, onions, asada (or any other meats I would’ve desired). The arroz (rice) was solid, and I’m happy! The only “okay” thing in my opinion, were the refried beans. I’ll be back when i visit my family here!

Really good, authentic food from a hole in the wall place. I wanted mole enchiladas, which apparently they didn’t have, but the enchiladas Rojas was very good. A lot of food for the price. Service was very slow though for a mostly empty place…. The man taking the orders didn’t speak a lot of English and had a hard time with orders and asking for things like water cups. But delicious and will definitely go again!

This place is absolutely amazing. It’s the perfect for just sitting and enjoying the food. Never to crowded, good vibes, and of course great food. When we got there they had various choices for food. They had pescatarian friendly options along with amazing drinks like horchata. I had the birria taco ( red tacos). It was 3 for ten dollars, and it was fabulous. It had a crunchy outside, came with a cup of sauce, a tiny cup of rice, then cilantro, lime, and onion on the side. This was a yummy meal ☺️ but definitely don’t get if you really are hungry! It satisfies you yet definitely for like a lunch! Anyways I really recommend to come and enjoy the food .

The most disrespectful front of house staff I’ve ever seen. Not one, but two of the hostesses laughed at my mother. Saying she sounded like a man. Rolling their eyes. Tell us that we changed our order multiple times when, in fact, we only changed it AFTER repeating it a minimum of 4 times… just to make it easier for them. The best part is, when I went to pick up the food, there were only 4 people at the bar. Literally no excuse for them messing up and being so rude. The food is just as good as the majority of other Mexican places in the area.

Really good mexican food! Well seasoned steak and shrimp.. i got the asada y camarones and my husband loved the don asada. The lime margarita was good too will definitely come back, i highly recommend this place!

I’m giving them 2 stars because our server Camden was really sweet but for my first (and likely only time) eating there I was disappointed.
A friend and I came in for a girls night out dinner. Within 15 mins we left.
1. The chips and salsa were STALE as heck.
2. I ordered two flour tacos. One beef. One chicken.
I was disturbed that not only was the meat cold and it tasted old but the tacos literally were JUST the tortilla and JUST the meat.
Like not cheese. No lettuce. I have never seen that before. I wish I had thought to take a picture but I was so shocked at the presentation.
Even Taco Bell comes with toppings.
3. My friend ordered a steak bowl and her steak was cold.
We sent the food back and left. You know it’s bad when the server admits that his mother had a similar experience a few days prior.
I was very disappointed. But I will say Camden was a sweetheart and the margaritas were delicious. I was looking forward to Mexican food.

This place use to be great a couple of years ago. Now, you are lucky if they pick up your phone call and the food quality is not great at all. I just ordered yesterday and they were just recooking food to be served to customers. Won’t be returning here anymore.
