Very chill and nice spot. We came on a Tuesday night , there was a lot of parking spots available and not many people which was nice. Food was also pretty tasty and not too loud so it feels like a good spot to take someone on a date and have a nice chat.

Really cool spot! The design is so fun and I really enjoyed sitting outside. I just wasn’t a huge fan of the ramen and beer add in. The ramen wasn’t bad, I just thought it was missing a little flavor and the portion size was smaller than what I’m used to. The cold foam beer they have is really cool, I just wish I would’ve gotten it without the ginger add in because unfortunately it tasted pretty off and like cleaning product. I would still probably come back though and try something else because the ambiance was great and I appreciated the friendly staff!

Very quick service, really cool vibe in the place, tried the spicy ramen which had a nice kick along with the sides of the croquettes and the fried chicken as well as a refreshing pint of the Japanese lager on tap. First meal in Austin on my travels and highly enjoyed it. Hopefully return again sometime soon!

Dog friendly patio, with great beer and appetizers. We really enjoyed the beer and the apps we got were amazing, spicy gyoza, beef slider and chicken kaarage! I think a live DJ was about to start too!

Place is great. Food is delicious, great variety of drinks and a nice vibe to just hangout at. My only complaint is the birds. It’s best that you avoid sitting somewhere underneath the tree in the center. The birds stay there a lot and WILL poop on you and in your food. They already pooped on me and in my beer and I don’t like constantly looking out for my food getting pooped in.

This place is SO cool! A must visit if you’re in Austin. They have this beer there with some alcohol flavored frozen foam in the top! Love the decor!

Domo Alley-Gato Tatsu-Ya – Located in East Austin Domo Alley-Gato Tatsu-Ya was only a 5 min walk from my cousins, with a lot of thought and deliberation they decided finally settled on this place. Arrived on a Sunday afternoon and to my surprise with football season it was a bit quiet, which was good because we were able to take our time looking over the menu. They are a mostly outside venue with limited inside seating and is very dog friendly! They also share the restroom with the ramen spot next door.
The atmosphere was that of Japan (peep the pics), very beautiful! Everything (food and drinks) was reasonably priced… We mostly got small plates but if you are hungry get the ramen but only want apps as a meal I would suggest a bowl of Curry/Chashu with Karage/Goyza. The fam and I got; Curry, Chashu, Edamame, Spicy Edamame, Korokkaaayyy, Gyoza, Katsu Slider, Karage and Negi rice bowl.

Curry – Nicely seasoned, no meat
Chashu- Delish, basically a porkbelly type adobo
Edamame/Spicy Edamame – Both very good but I would get the spicy, better flavor
Korokkaayyy – Typical flavor
Gyoza – Came out pipping hot, flavorful and juicy!
Karage – Can taste the marinade, crispy and addicting
Katsu Slider – Yummm but so small for $6
Negi Rice Bowl – OOOOoo this was a flavor bomb, surprisingly enjoyed this dish. Very savory!
Shinku punch – Very flavorful and refreshing paired well with all the dishes!

This is my favourite bar in Austin!

So eclectic, fun and adorable. The decor itself makes it something like an art project or installation that you absolutely must go see. The inside is like this Japanese environment with paper lanterns, seats made of what’s supposed to be crates of Sapporo beer. There’s cats everywhere. And the tables have cat decals with the menu QR code on them.

And their famous thing is this Japanese Ichiban beer with a foam swirl on top that comes with flavour shots you can drop in the beer. The other things on the menu are kind of basic but cocktails are good.
The vibe is also really laid back and chilled out
Highly recommend checking this place out! I know I’ll be back soon!

I really like it. I would love to revisit again

I had ramen first for dinner inside and it was good.

I went to outside and then had some small bites with beer and cocktails. They were all good. Foam beer with vanilla was good.

Casual vibe and very austin vibe. I love it!
