Today I came by and had an extra large al pastor burrito and it was trip the light fantastic, absolutely delicious. I am so happy I found this place by accident. We are from Texas and we decided to try this place out cause It is close where we are staying and we were craving authentic Mexican food, best decision we’ve made. This small business owner and restaurant it is top notch, food portions are big, filling and delicious, even my kids loved it! The lady that runs this place is so nice. Highly recommend to try this place out you won’t regret it. If you don’t mind the construction that’s going on right now you can dine in, she has 4 tables outside.

I’m new to Topeka and have been trying to find some new favorites. I stumbled upon Micaela’s and boy am I glad I did! The food is absolutely amazing! How does this place not have more reviews?!? Don’t sleep on this place! Seriously! Everything is so good! The woman taking orders, who I assume is the owner, is so friendly and kind as well. So far I’ve only tried the Chilaquiles, quesabirria, and gorditas de maiz and every one was amazing! I mean, I’ve tried so many “Mexican” places and many are fairly soulless, some tasty, but average like painting in shades of gray. But Micaela’s is like having stumbled upon every color of the rainbow with so much more flavor and depth. If you haven’t tried it yet, you are truly missing out!
