Went for dinner last night expecting bar type food. Boy were we suprised. Had the rubbish pizza (which came out as a Ruben pizza) and it was amazing. Also had a burger that was extremely delicious. But the star of the show was the meatballs. Don’t sleep on this place the new owners and chef have really made this into an amazing restaurant.

We literally live across the street from showboat and have walked down there for food, drinks and to listen to the bands for years. The new restaurant is definitely an appreciated upgrade and the food is great however, the music played in the background and types of bands they have do not really align with the new upper scale menu. My suggestion would be to add a few bar food staples like chicken wings and the famous bird balls back. We used to get wings every Friday and now there is no where around to get wings anymore. We were really disappointed that wings weren’t on the menu.

We boycotted this place for several years due to unpleasant experience with previous owner. Heard it changed hands and decided to give it another try . Food is greatly improved ( no longer Cisco deep fried frozen fare ). Vietnamese sauced Brussels Spouts are wow! Killer Reuben too. Great beers. Very happy to have this place in the neighborhood!
