I’m still in shock on how the owner of this restaurant treated us today. My mother in law and 6 year old daughter and I were out shopping for the day and thought we would try a deli sandwich. It our first time trying this deli. My mother in law is very particular about the water she drinks and brought in an already opened, half empty bottle of water with her. But no problem, she took the water bottle back out to our car when she was told no drinks were allowed. The Owner would not let it go, was so terribly rude and nasty to us, cussing at us and yelling very loud that she couldn’t allow her to bring a bottle of water in. Once we decided to leave she escalated and more profanity. I was more upset she was doing that in front of my daughter who just watched her the whole time she was carrying on. I’ve never been to a restaurant or seen a business owner treat their customers this way. My daughter had so many questions when we got to the car…Never tried the food and obviously will never go back. Not to mention when we first walked in we thought it was very unclean but we still were going to eat and was hoping for a nice lunch. I noticed on reviews she responds and calls people a liar and disgusting in response to voicing their opinion/experience—only makes her and the business look bad.

Recently got to try this well known local Deli .. I’ve heard of their chicken n shrimp salads and their hot subs. The place was clean and the help attentive. I enjoyed the sandwich n liked the potato salad.. the prices are a bit up there but this area seems fine with it . The locals enjoy it and you will too.. Try it!

I love this spot and have for YEARS! They’ve been in town for longer than I can remember, and have the best hot sub (Italian) that I’ve ever had. It literally sets the bar for all other places. All of the sides are amazing and made in house. Best potato salad I’ve ever had. The coleslaw is amazing and the macaroni salad is great too. She has cold beer in the cooler and the flavorful dirty kettle chips in there! It’s ten times better than any fast food place and the prices are reasonable especially if you pay with cash!

I have no idea why some of the reviews here complain about customer service, price, or size. I placed a phone order yesterday. I can’t eat pork products, so I asked for a turkey hoagie and they were more than accommodating. I was greeted kindly and had an incredibly friendly conversation with the young lady working there. Kind of wish I could have had a beer and chatted longer. Really pleasant experience. Lovely and clean interior. The sandwich itself was world-class. Really delicious, I was thoroughly impressed. The sharp provolone, bread, and hoagie peppers were of high quality. It was loaded with turkey and lasted me for two meals. I spend a lot of time eating hoagies in Pennsylvania and this might have beaten all of them to date. Ignore the bad reviews, try this place. I even posted pics in a hoagie group online and everyone agreed it looked amazing. The prices were more than reasonable, I thought. I do recommend calling ahead or getting there early as i was advised that they’re only open until they run out of food.

Awesome place! Great food! Great service! Was hard to tell that she was closed so we went and tried to go in but it was locked, we were about to leave and she came and and waved us in. Hot ham and cheese for lunch on a snow day at work hit the spot! Thanks for the awesomeness

I love Dixie Deli’s chicken salad. It has amazing flavor, lasts a while if you decide to get pounds of it for a long work week, and it’s made fresh. I forgot to call and ask to see if they would have some available, so I messaged Dixie Deli, through messenger and the owner Grace, responded almost immediately and said she can see if she can get the items needed to make it the next day. Since she is the kind woman she is, she took the time to make a fresh batch of chicken salad in a short notice for me and others to enjoy. I recommend others to try Dixie Deli’s chicken salad and sandwiches, because you will not be disappointed. The owner Grace, is sweet, amazing, and always has been kind to me every-time I go into her restaurant.
