My friend Michele told me her friends were starting a new BBQ restaurant and as a BBQ addict I had to come check it out. The staff was super friendly and the building was pretty cozy & comfortable. I ordered Brisket, pulled pork, sausage, Baked potato salad, Mac & Cheese as well as the beans. Everything was delicious and the bbq sauce was very unique, unlike almost any other TX BBQ sauce I’ve tried. Their Mac & Cheese was also super unique, most Mac’s seem to be flavorless while Grill Country’s was potently cheesy and good. All the meats I had were great, I’d recommend their sausage to anybody and their brisket had some great tasting bark. Check it out!

Our flight we cancelled, so we decided to indulge ourselves in some good BBQ. We ordered brisket sandwich, TX cheese steak and seasoned pinto beans. Everything was delicious and the staff super friendly. If you like good TX BBQ, this is a can’t miss!!

I thought to give this place a try due to the good reviews on portion size and taste but unfortunately had a different experience was given kid size portions literally! Even the pickles and onions I’m not sure why ! But I asked the lady in the front about it and she stated usually the reviews she sees is the portion isn’t big enough CLEARLY I do not see not one review that says that then confronts the guy in the back he says it depends on the sandwich and they both just hunch their shoulders unsure and says sorry sorry ? . Un professional but oh well lesson learned the taste is great though definitely one of the best brisket I’ve ever tasted place is nice and clean but would not recommend if your trying to get full for lunch and on a budget . It’s just a snack I could’ve went else where and got a full meal or full sandwich for the same price or maybe even lesser definitely good but NOT worth the price due to portions . Ps everyone doesn’t get the same portions so others may be lucky enough to get it I’ve seen pics on here and reviews . Once again not sure why I was served differently .

We ordered the brisket plate, the pulled pork plate (which we didn’t receive), the Texas cheese steak, the ribs, and sausage. For the sides, we got macaroni and cheese, baked potato salad, coleslaw, onion rings and fries. The food was ok. It is not the best bbq I have had. The brisket was tender, but some was dry. The ribs were done well, they had the right amount of pull to the meat, the jalapeño sausage was the favorite for my husband and daughter. My daughter said the Texas cheese steak was ok, but she wanted more cheese. She had a brisket meltdown from another place and liked that one better. The baked potato salad was good, it tasted like a baked potato. The mac and cheese had a good amount of cheese and is a bit peppery. The coleslaw tasted like coleslaw, it was fine. The onion rings and French fries were good. Overall, the food is decent.

My husband and I have been putting off going here until the opening crowd went down a bit. We went today and oh my goodness! Everything was great! I got the pulled pork sandwich, fries, and Mac and cheese. I had a HUGE craving for a pulled pork sandwich and this definitely satisfied it! My husband got the ribs and sausage link with the baked potato salad and chili. We tried both bbq sauces and WOW. I’ve never been to a bbq place that I could honestly say I liked their sauce more than my time and true sweet baby rays haha.

We got both desserts to go as everything had us stuffed! We haven’t tried them yet as I write this in the car but the cake reminds me of the cake from Matilda haha!

We will definitely be going back!!

Update: the desserts were absolutely phenomenal!!! Even if you’re not a bbq person, TRY THEIR BANANA PUDDING AND THE CHOCOLATE CAKE!

My husband and I came in today, this is our second time. We ordered the ribs, the baked potato salad and the Mac and cheese. The food was done perfectly, I love the Mac and cheese. I have never had loaded baked potato salad but it surprised me how much I enjoyed it. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I found my new barbecue place! Highly recommend!

Alex’s service was on point!

Our first time eating here & the food did not disappoint!

I had the TX cheesesteak with shredded brisket with Mac & cheese, loaded potato salad & onion rings.

I’m a picky “smoked” food eater. I don’t like it overly smoky! The meat was tender and the flavor was not overly Smokey!

The Mac & cheese was creamy and full of flavor!

The loaded potato salad was exactly as it sounds and delicious!

My pallet was pleasantly surprised and we will be back again for sure!

Needed an after gym meal. Stopped by for good bbq. Honestly blown away by the staff. Miss Michelle was very kind and made some great suggestions. The owner Jeff Krenzer came out and spoke to me. He made sure my food was good and I was enjoying his establishment. He really knows his BBQ. I have eaten a lot of bbq across the country. This place is easily top three. The pulled pork sandwich was juicy, had the right amount of smoke and bark. The sides were a good size, normally you get small sides at bbq restaurants. Not here. I felt they wanted to make sure you left happy and full. The baked potato salad was lights out delicious. I will definitely be back and may be come a regular. Need to try the brisket next time. Also a plus is veteran owned and operated.

We had brisket, pulled pork, seasoned corn, Mac and cheese, baked potato salad.

Everything was fresh, tasted great, served fast.

They are pet friendly for respectful, trained dogs.

Definitely will be back for more
