This diner is located in the North Shore Towers in the lower level. The food is very good and portions decent. I had the eggs and sausage with french fries and everything was cooked well. The coffee was fine and service was good.

The food is decent, and the servers are reasonably friendly, but the blonde manager — the owner, perhaps? — is an aggressively unpleasant woman. The concept of customer service is very obviously lost on her.

I was at first apprehensive about going to this restaurant primarily because of the bad reviews I read about it on Yelp. My gut feelings told me to give it a try anyway. I did that for one reason: I always wanted to visit this apartment complex where this restaurant was at ever since the late seventies and going to this restaurant gave me an opportunity to do so. Well, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the food was good and the service I received was equally as good. If any of the bad reviews I read were accurate, I have to say, based on my recent experience, the management of this restaurant has made quite an improvement.

The new owners spent a fortune for a beautiful complete renovation which unlike the previous owners included dedicated out-of-the-way storage areas for the wheelchairs and walkers. The restaurant is clean, the prices reasonable, and the service and food are excellent.

This establishment has a captive audience as it is the sole year round eatery within the Northshore Towers. I have dined here for years (10+) because a relative lives in the complex. The diner certaily does not match the high standards of the living quarters.

I’m a visitor here and I walked into the restraunt to order food the to go guy came over and asked me what I wanted I told him a kids burger he told me that I could not order that because I’m not a kid ….. I was really appalled because he had no idea who the burger was for especially because I was getting take out he went to his manager and asked her and she told him no she did not have the courtesy to come over and speak to me directly . I asked to speak with a manger because I’ve worked in a restraunt before and we could not tell customers what to order . She came over there and I asked her why I could not order the kids burger she told me because I am not a kid … she was rude and on the defense and again I was shocked becuse this was a manger I was speaking with my biggest problem wasn’t with not being able to order the burger but how she she said it “you told my server it was for you and you cannot order that I told her I never told her server that the burger was for me she told me I did ” I told her that she was being extremely rude she turned around and asked the server what I said and he repeated I just ordered a kids burger she then walked off waved her hand and said give it to her …
