Syd, made our drinks for use. Very nice and sweet young lady. We had an Iced Mocha, and a Latte. Both were perfectly prepared. There was no waiting. Price was same as anywhere else. The Latte was on of the best I have ever had . Both were 12 oz single shots.

I would frequently visit this stand and say hi to my favorite barista, she put care into her work and was always kind. I was extremely dissapointed to hear that she was fired for no good reason at all. I previously had no complaints about the establishment. Now the quality is lacking, the current baristas don’t live up, the food always comes cold, and overall the charm is completely gone. Never coming here again.

I’ve been a regular customer for years at Diedrich Espresso and have always appreciated the baristas who make the experience welcoming. Recently, though, I’ve been really disappointed in how the management seems to handle their staff.

Even without going into details, I think it’s important to say this: how a business treats its employees directly impacts its customers. Baristas are the face of the shop, they’re the people we interact with every day. They’re the first faces we see in the morning, and their energy and consistency are what keep customers coming back. When management doesn’t value or support them, it affects the entire atmosphere. Losing good ones without professional transparency or acknowledgment changes the atmosphere significantly.

What feels especially frustrating is seeing the lack of any real response to customer concerns. It comes across as dismissive rather than addressing the issue professionally.

I truly believe in supporting local business, but part of that is expecting fair and respectful treatment of the workers who keep the place running. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and prioritizes communication, respect, and accountability going forward.

I want to give a special shoutout to Sarah, one of the baristas at Diedrich Espresso in Sedro-Woolley. She’s always kind, friendly, and clearly cares about the drinks and food she makes. Her mocha is absolutely delicious.

The biscuits and gravy she prepares are also excellent always hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked. I’ve been there when Sarah wasn’t working, and unfortunately, the food and drinks just weren’t the same. The other baristas didn’t seem to care as much about making sure the food was hot or the drinks were made right.

Sarah really goes above and beyond, and she’s the main reason I keep coming back. Diedrich Espresso is lucky to have her they should definitely hire more people like Sarah. She’s by far the best barista there!

I’m writing to share feedback on my recent visit to your espresso stand heading out of town on Highway 20. Unfortunately, this experience fell significantly below my expectations, both in terms of product quality and customer service.

Firstly, the product I received did not meet standard quality expectations. The espresso was poorly prepared, tasted burnt, and lacked the consistency that is typical for this type of beverage.

Secondly, the service was unsatisfactory. Staff appeared disengaged and unprofessional, and my concerns regarding the product were not addressed in a courteous or helpful manner.

I believe constructive feedback is essential to business improvement, which is why I am bringing these issues to your attention. I hope you will take this as an opportunity to reassess your service standards and quality control processes.

Thank you for your time.

I’m extremely disappointed with how this coffee stand treated my family member, who had been a dedicated employee. She always showed up on time, worked hard, and genuinely cared about the customers. Unfortunately, she was let go without any clear explanation or communication.
It was hurtful and unprofessional, and it left our whole family feeling frustrated and confused. No one deserves to be treated that way, especially when they’ve given their best. We will not be returning, and I hope the owners take a serious look at how they treat their staff moving forward.

I always stop to get coffee from Diedrich on my way to work. Lots of my coworkers have commented on how great the drinks look so now everyone at TWC drinks espresso from Diedrich. They have awesome baristas there, especially Selena! Her surprise Lotus’ are the bomb diggity.

Great food, great service. Only gave 4 stars on atmosphere because of, through no fault of theirs, it was cold and rainy. Terrible weather to wait for coffee in.
