The service was fantastic, and the food overall was really delicious. The brisket was just a tiny bit on the dry side, but honestly everything else was absolutely yummy. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who’s craving some good barbecue.

My family had food delivered tonight from Dickies, and let me tell you…I was thoroughly impressed! The smoked turkey is literally to die for. Even after being delivered, the food was excellent. The green beans and sides were great! Four stars instead of five because the brisket was a bit dry and tough. The other meats we had (turkey and pulled pork) were absolutely fabulous however! We will be eating this food again, and soon!

My husband and I used to live in Texas… this is the only BBQ restaurant we visit. It’s an hour drive, so unfortunately, we go infrequently. Today the stars aligned, and we were driving by around 1:15pm. It was so fantastic! Our brisket sandwiches were moan -worthy (which we both did). The young man who greeted us was friendly, welcomed us with a smile, and was also the sandwich maker. Even our beans were exceptional (which can be difficult to keep them from getting mushy).. and to top it off, my iced tea made me think I was back in Texas!
I’m so glad we did not live closer or I’d be in meat comas…

I went there while spending the night in Eagan before my flight. It was better than expected. The food was great and there was more than I could eat. The service was excellent.

If you’re hungry, you definitely want to pop into this place. Clean, friendly service, the smell makes you hungry, and it’s reasonably priced. The brisket was delicious & portions were good. I’ll be back to try other menu items.

My favorite BBQ place in the Twin Cities. The only place I have found that serves true Texas BBQ. I should know I lived in TX for several years. I particularly the different choice of sauces which I think really adds to the meal. Sides are also good particularly the potato casserole and green beans.

I upped my review. This is why you should always try a place twice.
The brisket today was really good. The onion tanglers again priced to be amazing. I went with the coleslaw this time. Very tasty. A good level of mix and the creaminess was just right.
Overall, I’m happy with Dickey’s now and will definitely go back.

The brisket was dry. And I dint mean a little dry, this was so dry I needed to drink water with it to get out down. I love brisket, but this I did not love.
The baked beans looked and tasted like the canned beans you get in a grocery store.
I asked for onions. I got two raw strips of onion.
I will say that the onion tanglers were very well done. The toast was excellent. The BBQ sauce was spiced really well. While the brisket was dry, the seasoning was really good.
I’ll probably give them another try, anyone can have an off day, but I won’t be in any rush to do so, nor will I be recommending them.

Food was amazing! The employees were super nice and attentive. The place was clean and very well managed. Prices are very reasonable.
They deserve more than 5 starts easily!

Good BBQ with a lot of different options for sides and varieties. Great for take out and eating in. They have really good BBQ sauce and it pairs well with any of the meats.

Good consistent BBQ and they have the best fried okra in Eagan! We usually get the 3 meat platter and a brisket baker (potato). But recently I’ve been enjoying the daily specials that come with 2 sides. Free Soft Serve, Fireplace and sports on TV!
