This review is for the Brownsburg location. This place is honestly trashy. Never open. I’ve been told stories that the manager treats the staff horribly, so that is why it’s never open. This location is just a big waste of money and land. Other restaurants can open in Brownsburg in a week and be successful. You can’t even open after 2 years and be successful. Close this place and open up a chick-fil-a!!

What a mess! Not open…maybe…maybe not. When I did go, it was a hot mess – tons of people on premise but no one working. Took forever to get food when it should have been simple. Maybe if they had some management it would be an ok place. I’d avoid until they reopen (obviously) and reviews improve. Honesty, they should just close and open something else in the prime real estate.

It seems like it has taken awhile for this place to get off the ground. Understandable for a place that tried to open during a pandemic. We had a great experience and meal today. The Brisket Burnt Ends were great, as was the creamed spinach. We will be making this a regular stop in our restaurant rotation.

Make sure they are open before you order… placed an online order on a Saturday evening. Google said it was open, the website allowed me to order even with “Saturday specials”, took my credit card info and turns out they were closed. Didn’t find out until 40 minutes later when we went to pick up our food. Quite the disappointment for our hungry group of 7. Will try again in the future and re-review.

This restaurant has potential, and this review is not intended to discourage people from going here. My hope is that management will take it as constructive feedback to improve the business. Our family felt the food was on par with other BBQ restaurants. The staff was polite, but mostly young, inexperienced/poorly trained, and inattentive. Customers waited over 20 minutes before even seeing a staff member. The first time because they were all standing in the back around a broken fryer. Things happen, but 3 of the 4 visible staff members (which I assume they’re working with low staff like many other businesses) were just watching while customers waited to be greeted. The second time, one of young ladies was sitting on the floor behind the register playing on her phone, completely unaware that that were customers in line waiting for her or that there were items by the drink fountain (ie straws) that needed restocked. As we left, we heard comments about certain food items running low (further limiting the menu after the broken fryer). I would come back, as long as we’re not in any rush. I think improvements in management and staff education on professionalism would go a long way! We live nearby and would love to see this place succeed!

Went inside to place order and it took 10 minutes for the workers to acknowledge me. I gave them some grace because I understand this is their grand opening. Manager walked by a few times and said nothing. Ordered my daughter’s food, but they were out of almost everything on their menu so we got her ribs and a bag of chips. While waiting a gentleman came in to return his order. He received a pulled pork sandwich with no meat on it. I over heard the workers joking about it before he came back to the store. I don’t like to give negative reviews but here is the truth. Don’t try this restaurant until they have been up and running for a while. As far as Dickeys as a chain I have always liked them. But the store in Brownsburg deserves 0 stars. Most menu items are unavailable.

It was a bit of a wait due to the staffing shortage that everyone is experiencing. It was worth being patient and waiting. The kids behind the counter were awesome and I can’t say enough about how well they tried and kept their composure while being blasted by people who were not so patient. Hats off to them. The food was great!!!! It will be great when things are back to normal and you can get in and out. Really can’t say enough about the awesome staff. Very caring, good attention to detail and trying their best to do a good job….and succeeding at it.

This place is fantastic. I got ribs , Mac and cheese and Cole slaw.. Wife got burnt ends waffle fries and brisket chili. OMG… It was great. I was going to take a picture but I ate it all too fast. $40. For both of us and that’s not bad. Can’t wait to go back. Yummy……

I waited in line for well over 30 minutes. I ordered their anniversary special. The sandwich was small as was the potato salad side. Thought I was suppose to get a brownie with it. I didn’t. There was no bbq sauce on the pulled pork. I wrongly supposed there was going to be. Service was extremely slow, servers were very unsure of themselves and thus not friendly at all. They don’t take cash. So my first time there was way underwhelming. Having said that, even though I had a 1 experience, I will give them another chance. I get the fact that they probably are fortunate in this culture to have hired anyone. So I really can’t blame new owners at this point. They deserve another chance, or two or three. I pray they make it.

Are we all pretending this isn’t a money laundering scheme at this point? Would love to see their accounting books make this dickeys post their revenue publicly. Time to close em down and move em out. Need a chick fil a or something that will at least be open.
