Vegan / Vegetarian cafe with a variety of great dishes.

Food: Tried the Portobello Artichoke Sandwich, the serving was huge, seasoned perfect and went well with chips and salsa. The Breakfast Burrito was also massive and very tasty.

Service: Order fast food style at the counter then wait for your food to be called out. Food comes out in about 20 minutes.

Ambiance: Place is massive. Lots of seating inside but limited outside.

Great veggie restaurant with loads of healthy food options. I added avocado and artichokes to my salad, and a tea and my order came close to being $40. You order at the register then sit and wait for your name to be called, and you pick it up at the counter. Amazing art on the wall, and super cool plants trailing the wall. The salad was enough for two portions; I took the rest to go (containers are placed out for you to grab). There is a station for you to place your tray and dishes. Great vibe, casual ambiance.

Anytime I visit Santa Cruz. I have to go to my favorite restaurant and get vegan gluten-free chicken chow mein and sit by my favorite indoor plant.

I’ve only ordered thru door dash but this is my favorite place in Santa Cruz for a quick and healthy meal. The steamed vegetables are like none other with veggies of every color and perfectly steamed. The spring rolls are huge, fresh and delicious.

Highly recommend! We had the vegan BBQ sandwhich and it was better than real meat! The food is absolutely amazing and priced accurately for location and quality vegan food. Their vegan cake is beyond incredible and the staff is so sweet. We were having a really rough day as a family member passed away and the man at check out was so kind he gave us a piece of cake and it absolutely made our day. I would go back just because of that kindness!

You order at the register and pick up your food at the counter when ready. Bus you own tables. Food is very good, and in VERY large quantities. Either go in extremely hungry, split an order, or expect to have leftovers. Carryout containers are easily accessible at a counter near the exit door.

Big fan of Dharma’s for years for the mellow vibe, spacious eatery, and delicious healthier food. Favorite is the Indian curry and the Kitcheree. Bo Thai is fave of my spouse. Both are gluten-free vegan.

This was an absolute joke. I ordered two quesadillas for $27 to go and what I got was two flimsy taco shells with melted cheese inside and a pile of shredded lettuce. That’s not a quesadilla—that’s lazy, insulting, and straight-up robbery. You seriously charged full price for something I could’ve thrown together at home for $3.50 in five minutes. Complete waste of money and a total ripoff. I won’t be coming back, and I’ll make sure others know to avoid this place too.

A unique spot with healthy vegetarian and vegan food options. Dinner felt like a nice hug for myself: healthy food in a well-frequented spot with a friendly hippy vibe. It’s worth checking out, the only other restaurants I’ve tried that are similar to it are all in the East Bay. Very family friendly (I appreciated that a few staff came over with dinosaur toys when my kids were having a meltdown) and the dining area is extremely large so there’s plenty of spots to choose from. Best dish was the soup and salad. The breakfast burrito was good too, as long as you’re a fan of baked potato.

This is my second or third time back in a very long time. I remembered why I don’t come here often and it’s not only because it’s far. The food is blasé, bland, meh.

I got the Nuclear Bluff sandwich. Seems to be soy curls cooked in tomato sauce. The sandwich doesn’t hold together well and is messy to eat. They cheese helped the soy curls stay put. The bread was a little stale. It tasted okay. It better with hot sauce.

The salad was wilted and already going bad, orange at the edges. The tomato slices were fresh however.

I had asked for vegan cheese instead of regular cheese which they accommodated. But they forgot to switch out the vinaigrette dressing which has honey. Not a huge loss, as it dissuaded me from eating rotting salad.

Next time I’m looking for places to eat in the area, I hope I remember this.
