We’ve ordered from here a few times over the years but haven’t been for a while as we prefer the Aroma and Bengal Rose in Ulverston but thought we’d try again, we had popperdoms pickle tray and chicken tikka and salad for starters chicken naga chilli lamb tikka pathia mushroom rice garlic nan bread and sag aloo fot our mains smallest pieces of chicken tikka we’ve ever eaten and we both thought the same about the chilli naga chicken being bland and that the lamb tikka pathia was much better rice and sag aloo nice but nann bread bland too we won’t be rushing back

Dined here solo. Was made to feel very welcome as soon as I arrived. It was fairly quiet but not awkward. Food was fantastic. I opted for the chicken madras with garlic pilau rice. Both very good, especially the rice. The rice wasn’t dry at all which sometimes can be the case at other indian restaurants. Excellent value for money and will definatly return.

We have been staying in a lodge at Ulverston and was recommended this restaurant. Booking easy, table waiting, drinks were brought quickly and the food from start to finish was outstanding would definitely recommend a visit and if ever back in the area will return, one of the best Indian meals we have ever had.

This used to be an amazing Indian restaurant but sadly going by tonight it has drastically gone down. Food well below average, no atmosphere and the place was freezing cold, in fact there was a table of 6 sat eating their meals with their coats on. We shall not be back!

The food was too bad that we couldn’t even eat it. It wasn’t like the normal Indian food full of spices it had No salt even!! Althought the French fries was too oily and when we asked them the employee there she said I know but it’s already cooked!!! That was totally unacceptable.

Let me tell you something I think mum would of lost the plot and would have burnt the place down!! & If temu could make a restaurant this would be the place..

Great Indian restaurant with amazing food. Went as a group of 4. We all loved our food and the speed of the service. That said, a couple of my friends weren’t as happy with the service. Some of the wait staff didn’t apologise when interrupting to put down and take away dishes. I also noticed one of our plates was wet and there was an empty tea light holder with wax residue on our table. With some patience you’ll definitely enjoy this restaurant. Recommended for a great Indian meal. I would definitely go again

Nothing is more irritating than when you ordered food two hours ago, delivery app claims it should have arrived over an hour ago, and the restaurant don’t even have the basic customer service skills to include the words “we’re sorry” when unashamedly claiming it’s “on its way”.
