First time here. It was a Saturday night. The place is pretty small so not a good idea to plan a group meet up. Unless you’re sitting outdoors perhaps. There was only one waitress for an entire side. Took a while to get menus and to be seated for the group of about 10. Took about 30 min or so to get food, but not because it wasn’t ready. Our waitress was serving as a bartender as well and didn’t pick up the food. So, needless to say the food wasn’t very warm. I will say the wings were tasty and sizeable unlike some of the really small party wings you see. 12 wings were $19.99.

25 years ago, I had my favorite chicken wings and a dive bar in Saratoga known as Trotters. Today I found my replica bar in Raleigh. The chicken wing word exact replica of the wings in Saratoga I am glad to see the younger crowd still drinking, and doing shots.
it’s better to burn out than the fade away

Durham Native. As the city grows so do the dining options after spending a decade or so traveling and being away from home. We started exploring the new Downtown Durham which has changed a great deal over the years. Alot of the restaurants in the area are cheap gimmicks, pretentious and disappointing. But what remains a constant is Devines. It stands out in this new world offering the same classic hoemtown sports bar vibe that i grew up with. But it does not stumble on delivering good food, spirits great friendly staff and events. We no longer have to explorer the new downtown cause Devines will always home to us.

The wings were great. They were big and well cooked. I had the hot and the lemon pepper and both were great. I watched the game while their. The bartender was good.

Lunch Saturday – Shaved beef hoagie and BLT were good, fries the best. Beer too!

Went here while waiting on the train, the food & atmosphere was great. Great place to watch sports. Adam, one of the bartenders, was exceptional – he dealt with some weird complaints and yet, remained humble and professional. Great dive bar and highly recommend for travelers to drop by!!

We recently hosted a celebration of life for my mother-in-law, Betsy Kessler, at Devine’s Restaurant and Sports Bar, and I cannot express enough gratitude for how wonderfully everything turned out. Betsy was a beloved figure in Durham’s community, and the outpouring of love and support we received was deeply moving. I want to extend a special thank you to Gene Divine, the owner, for not only allowing us to use this venue for such a significant event but also for being an important part of Betsy’s life. The compassion, professionalism, and warmth provided by the staff made a challenging day much easier. We are immensely grateful for everything. Thank you, Gene, and everyone at Devine’s for your kindness and for helping us celebrate Betsy’s remarkable life in such a special way.

Was 1st time here. Our server was Malcom, guy was incredible. Ambiance nice, dark, and quiet w/ juke box tunes. Nachos were good, burger was incredible, wife’s grill chicken sandwich incredibly juicy, and sweet thai wings out of this world. Love this place have to come out more.

Very enjoyable out on the patio. As a plus size person, the chairs were very comfortable and didn’t dig into my hips. The restaurant next door had live music which would have been too loud if we were there but was an enjoyable volume from Devine’s patio. The food was good and the service was great. The cocktails were watered down but otherwise…
