Well date nights are few and far between for us and I am so happy we picked Devine for dinner. The service was great, our server was so attentive. I loved the decor, very hill country chic with mood lighting. I had the lobster risotto special and it was delicious. The hubs had the shepard’s pie and he was very quiet, a good sign. The appetizer was delicious and so were our drinks. I would definitely come back for another date night. Great for a date, or group of adults having fun.

Devine Wine Bar Brunch Review
We visited Devine Wine Bar today for brunch, arriving at 11:00 am. We were immediately seated, a pleasant surprise considering the restaurant was relatively quiet with only a handful of other patrons. This allowed us to choose our preferred seating, and we opted for a comfortable booth.
We began with Irish coffees, which were decent but not particularly memorable – a solid, standard cup of coffee. My wife enjoyed a selection of sides, including bacon and a fruit plate, while I opted for the two-egg plate accompanied by potatoes and bacon. I also ordered a spiced Bloody Mary. The food arrived promptly and was well-prepared and tasty.
The ambiance of Devine Wine Bar is surprisingly charming, especially considering its proximity to a Valero gas station. The interior is well-designed, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Our waiter, Mark, was exceptionally pleasant and personable, contributing to a positive dining experience.
Overall, we enjoyed our brunch and plan to return to Devine Wine Bar to sample their lunch and dinner menus.
However, I do have a strong objection to the restaurant’s policy of charging a 3.5% credit card processing fee to the customer. In my opinion, this surcharge creates a negative customer experience and has the potential to deter patrons. Adding this additional fee, especially when other nearby establishments do not, risks driving customers away. It is a detail that significantly impacts the overall impression and could influence future dining decisions.

Nice new. Experience here in Spring Branch. We tried lunch and overall was a great meal. Very good wine list. Also a good beer and cocktail selection. The Brie and Fig appetizer was a good sized portion and present well. For our main meal my wife’s Lasagna was absolutely wonderful. Huge lunch portion. And better tasting than most Italian restaurants in the area. This was a 5+ rating. I had the Chicken Margherita Panni and the flavor was good but the chicken was underwhelming. I expected a chicken breat or sliced chicken. I got about 7 cubes of chicken per half. A sandwich should have protein in every bite. I also asked for bacon. Expectation was a slices of bacon. I got bacon bits sprinkled on the sandwich. Panni was a 2. Brought 1/2 home and will add slice turkey and reheat for dinner.
Dessert was really good we tried the ding dong cake. While panni was disappointing. Pizzas and flat breads coming out looked great as well as other items
We will be back and try again.

I thought the food and service was really good. The live music was WAY TOO LOUD. The artist was really good, just need to turn the volume down to about half. We had to shout at each other (4 diners in a booth) and repeat ourselves to have a conversation and we had to shout at the server and repeat ourselves to place our order. Maybe offer a separate room that is away from the music? I know I sound like an old fogey, and I probably am, but loud music is not my thing and not the reason I meet friends at a restaurant.

This place is awesome. The service was friendly and fast enough. The atmosphere was very comfortable and cozy. Clean restrooms and plenty of parking. I had the turkey and havarti panini with pasta salad. Wife had one of the flatbreads. I also had a macchiato and everything was delicious. We will be back quite a few more times.

The owner had responded to my 1 star on their website by saying “they have Never gotten a 1 star review before”. They have gotten a lot! I responded to them with this message without a so much reply back.

You were out of Brie and fig on the appetizer so no problem, skipped that. Although my friend ordered the fig pizza and they could manage that one. You were out of the wine we ordered, meat lasagna, and I ordered the Seabass and it was nothing like the description. It says clearly cooked blackened and it came out in a tomato based disgusting tomato sauce. Sent that back, oh and along with the cold green beans that came straight from the refrigerator! I didn’t bother ordering another dish. In fact, Your manager that was roaming around the restaurant didn’t even come by to say a word knowing everything that had happened. We asked the waiter for water several times, gave up on that as well.
Didn’t want to waste anymore time on this place, that’s why I just 1 starred it without words…but there ya go.

Devine Wine! A hidden gem in the Spring Branch area! My recent dining experience was truly exceptional. The restaurant’s ambiance is both cozy and chic, creating a perfect setting for any occasion. The food was outstanding; I particularly enjoyed the cranberry salad with pasta, which was bursting with fresh flavors. Our server, Angie, was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, making recommendations that perfectly suited our tastes. The entire experience, from the warm welcome to the delicious food and impeccable service, was a delight. I highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to return! My best friend and I had such a fun girls date here! Such a Cute place, fun vibe and decor, and most importantly our server yesterday was amazing. He was so kind and inviting, and we just had a lovely time with his recommendations and presence.
