Karaoke Night felt like Amateur Night at Showtime at Apollo Night in New York. You better know how to sing. Standing Ovations given. Good cheese sticks and awesome drinks! People come with talent. Its like speakeasy on Friday.

Tried to give this place a second chance, attended a friend’s birthday party, was told that the cover was $10 on a Sunday but then when we got there for some reason security felt the need to charge everyone $20 a head around 9pm. Place was over packed, I’m surprised the fire marshal didn’t shut it down. Probably won’t be back after this.

First time there and last!
I’m only giving the stars, because the gentleman at the door was very polite with great customer service. The lady at the front door was very rude and useless. There was a waitress that was rude and useless. We were there almost an hour without any service. I had family meet me there from out of town and I was embarrassed of the non service and unprofessionalism from certain staff members. My relative from out of town lost her wallet, but didn’t realize it until after we left the establishment. When we called to inquire about the wallet, a woman who answered the phone, hung up on us! Smh We weren’t gone not even 15 minutes and went back up there and the lady at the door was still RUDE! I’m from Detroit and I will not be back on any day! Customer service is very important and 1 staff can ruin it for the entire establishment.. The best part was the gentleman at the front door. He gave us a table fast!

Update… a representative from Blues Cafe, called my sister and said that they had her wallet with everything in it! I would like to say thank you, and God bless you to that person and also the person who turned it in. You’re going to be blessed for that for sure!

I was prepared to give 5 stars from the time I walked in all the way until I had to deal with the server. My dad ordered a top shelf Long Island that the server forgot about then brought it and it was $47. He asked about the price and she said he was double charged so it would be $36. $37 for a top shelf Long Island is ridiculous for this type of establishment. At the same time I asked for a water that I never got and the smart remark about not having any water with her when she dropped off the drink was unnecessary. Then I go to the bar to get a water and three of the 5 bar tenders/servers are doing something on their phone, talking or texting. For a place that includes gratuity that’s absolutely unacceptable that I have to wait until you’re done with your phone for service and still tip! The vibe of the place is nice and I would highly recommend as long as you don’t need any service. As someone who worked in the service industry I’m all for included gratuity but the work gotta match the top notch tip that’s included.

Beautiful decor! Food was great! Servers were amazing but there were only 2 so we had to wait awhile to get our bill. DJ did his thang and had everyone on the dance floor all night… overall a great experience and FUN times!!!

Had a 50th Birthday Party. I reserved a table, this process was stress free Amber was extremely helpful and accommodating. This was my first time at the establishment. My guests and I had a wonderful time, we all had a very nice night around a mature crowd. The music selection was great, food delicious, and the bartenders made good drinks. Everyone in the place had a ball and came to dance and have a good time.Definitely will go back again!!
