We had a server named Rhys I think it was. He was great! There are ALOT of people who come around your table and check to make sure the food is good, the drinks are good, your water is filled to the brim, everything is perfect! You will see what I’m thinking, is the manager, walk around several times.Fiance had a slight issue with his steak not being cooked enough but the manager took it and came back a few short minutes later and it was great with no issues! They also have the lights at every table. They have a TV at the bar section. The restaurant also has a reservation room towards the back which is nice. Pricing is accurate $50-$100/person. I had a chicken parm I believe it was around $40 and fiance had one of the steaks for $110. The only downfall for me, was the watermelon margarita I had was EXTREMELY salty. Other than that, everything went really well! Will come back with friends and family next time:)

I had such an amazing experience at Desi Vega’s Steakhouse in Ocean Springs! The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful—elegant but still warm and comfortable.
I have a gluten allergy, and the staff could not have been more accommodating. They took the time to explain all my options and even helped me modify my dessert so I could enjoy it completely gluten-free. It made the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable, which doesn’t always happen when eating out.
I started with the 7-Spice Seared Yellowfin Tuna, which was so fresh and flavorful. My ribeye steak was cooked perfectly, and I paired it with a glass of red Cabernet Sauvignon—such a great combo. The Brussels sprouts were incredible too, probably some of the best I’ve had!
For dessert, they made me a gluten-free crème brûlée, and it was absolutely fantastic—creamy, rich, and the perfect sweet finish. I also loved my Tito’s Lavender Lemon Drop cocktail; it was light and refreshing without being too sweet.
Overall, everything—from the food to the service—was outstanding. If you’re gluten-free and want a restaurant that truly understands and accommodates dietary needs without sacrificing flavor or presentation, Desi Vega’s is definitely the place to go.

Had a great work dinner party at Desi Vega’s last night and it was wonderful. The food was top quality and cooked perfectly. My martini had hand stuffed blue cheese olives, which is worth a few stars all on it’s own! The service staff were all friendly, accommodating professionals and we didn’t lack for anything. The atmoshere is beautiful without being stuffy and very welcoming. Put a visit on your calendar. You won’t regret it!

You could tell it was handled with real skill in the kitchen. The bacon-wrapped shrimp was done flawlessly — perfectly cooked, balanced, and packed with flavor. And the black chocolate cake paired with raspberry sherbet was the ideal ending. Rich, smooth, and just the right touch of brightness to finish the night.
But what truly set this place apart was the service.
TJ took our order and checked on us consistently throughout the evening, making sure everything was exactly right. Patrick, who I believe is the General Manager, stopped by multiple times to personally make sure we were happy — something you don’t see often anymore. The head chef even came out to talk with us about the food, which made the experience feel personal and special.
And Celia — she was incredible. She anticipated everything we needed before we even had to ask. Her personality, attentiveness, and genuine care elevated the entire night. Her service was truly the icing on the cake.

I had high hopes for this establishment . Unfortunately they portray them selves as a high end steak house and they fall short . Upon entering the atmosphere feels like a modular setting instead of a stand alone that you would expect . After ordering a $100 bottle of white wine they brought it to the table room temperature and proceeded to put it in a bucket of ice . I told them that this isn’t the proper way to chill this and what other bottles do you have that are chilled . Then ordered that bottle and put our order in total. We got one appetizer and the the other 10 min later once inquired about it . The waiter served the second round of wine and filled my glass 3/4 full , my wife’s 1/2 full and then asked if I wanted another bottle for the other party at the table . Then the main courses came , one had filet , one fish special , the crab cakes , and I had the scallops . The filet wasn’t up to snuff , the fish special was good , the crab cakes were middle of the road and the scallops were not tender . The desserts were the best thing as we had the chocolate cake and confetti cake . Over all it’s a middle of the road and not worth the price point . Another miss for the gulf coast .
