It’s been years since I’ve eaten at Dennys. For some reason most of the stores in Boise are closed. Did you know this Dennys has a full bar? Who knew? I had the Original Grand Slam breakfast. Just as good as I expected. Our server was very attentive. And he talked us into signing up for the Rewards program and I got my coffee for free! We’ll go back again when we are in the area again!

I mean it’s Denny’s, a major chain restaurant. Don’t expect down home cookin. In Washington not much is open at 0 dark thirty in the morning. Our experience was excellent. Our waitress was awesome and the food tasted great. For downtown Auburn Washington the restaurant was clean and comfortable. It’s right off of highway 18.

We walked in and there was a line out the door. Which for a Sunday we expected so we waited. However, we were all waiting to get on a wait list or some people to pay. No one was at the counter for a good 10 minutes. We finally got seated after at least about 25 minutes or so. After being at the restaurant for 47 minutes we finally got a cup of coffee. We honestly should have left but kept figuring they would help us any minute.

I love Denny’s, especially this location on Auburn Way in Auburn. The restaurant has plenty of parking. The staff greets you when you come in the door.
You get seated ASAP, took your order and able to enjoy right away.
No complain, but love. Big crew comes in and they were able to accommodate.

I ordered a country freid steak with mash potatoes and broccoli, with toast on the side. The country fried steak tasted like if it was fried in old fish oil, kinda fishy taste, and the gravy didn’t have any taste too. The mash potatoes didn’t have any flavor at all, no hint of salt or anything, broccoli is broccoli. What got me was which I didn’t notice until my wife pointed it out, was my toast looked weird, come to find out it is a hotdog bun burnt tried to make it look fancy… and it didn’t even taste like toast at all. How can you mess up a toasted piece of bread. I couldn’t even eat all my food, so I took it home for my dog to have… .. at least she enjoyed that meal.
My wife ordered the BLT sandwich, and she didn’t even like they way it tasted, and she couldn’t even finish her meal as well.
We have eaten at a different location before and this was way worse than the one by the airport.
Maybe a bad day we came to eat here but, for me and my wife to pay around $80 for our meals didn’t make us feel good. Maybe your experience could be better than what I experience.

Got up early and flew from Chicago to Seattle to celebrate our granddaughter’s 8 th birthday. Went to Denny’s for dinner and got a table for 5 that took a couple minutes to set up. Our granddaughter likes the chocolate shakes here was the reason why we chose Denny’s for dinner. Anjalina took our drink orders and we ordered a meal for the child while waiting for her mother to arrive. I retired as a food service manager in the Chicagoland area and noticed that she was working solo. She was the cashier, manned the phones, sat diners in the south portion of the restaurant to keep customers in one area, expedited the doordash/ubereats orders and brought the food/drinks. We were one of 5 tables that grew to 7 tables during our visit. The poor girl tried her best but service was slow due to her being the only person. There was a man bussing tables and I wondered why he wasn’t helping serve the food and drinks to free her up a bit. Eventually, he did help with drinks. My guess is she asked for a bit of help. We had arrived at 5pm and my daughter-in-law joined us at 525p. Eventually, she took our order. Then we waited and waited. The busser came by and I asked for an ice tea refill and then managed to get refills for the table as well. At 615pm, we got our food. Our server apologized to us and we told her that it wasn’t her fault. The staffing at this restaurant is atrocious. I saw one cook, the busser and Anjalina running the entire restaurant. My comment is to Denny’s management: Why are you allowing this to happen? Service is affected negatively without proper staffing. Anjalina comped our drinks and the child’s meal, which was nice of her. I felt for her and the two others. It is demoralizing to work a Saturday night shift shorthanded.

I always hate coming here , one of the WORST Dennys that exists!!! All of the waitress are rude and also have to wait 2 hours to get our food!! There’s only 2 of them which is crazy, they don’t have any consideration for their staff. So my wife thought ordering via DoorDash was going to be a quicker experience, but it’s not. I had to wait over an hour for our food because they didn’t had it ready when the driver arrived. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I honestly would drive 20 minutes to eat at a different dennys for a better experience. Unbelievable.

When I first got there with my wife there were only 3 couples in the restaurant, it took only 5 minutes to be sat into a dirty booth where I sat in jam. We were given an apology. Later when my food came it was mostly cold and I had no choice but to walk up to someone because the waitress we had constantly failed to remove anything from the table like empty drunk glasses. I payed for my wife’s food and we left. I will never return to this Dennys unless it is in the a.m. hours when the crew that was there is not working. This took place starting at 8 p.m. Feb, 14th and we left by 9, yes only an hour but it took that long to even get the food with only 4 tables being served.

Neat for a traditional week day breakfast! Service was great and the food too! The Philly cheese steak omelette was yum with the hash browns and the pancakes! Restrooms could be given some more attention!
