I went to the Aberdeen Denny’s today and had such a great brunch experience with my wife. We were told that there would be a wait time, but that was not a problem for us. The hospitality there, even though they were so busy was just amazing. We had, Katy, as our server and she was just the kindest. She always made sure our coffees were full, checked in on us often to make sure we had everything we needed and she had the friendliest smile. I just wanted to give her some recognition for being such a delight and making us feel welcomed on such a busy afternoon.

There was a 1/2 hour wait between ordering and receiving my food. Prior to noon they had run out of one of the side dishes. However, my server was great. She was friendly and solicitous on both of the issues. I also noticed other servers seemed to be good with their customers.

I’m probably biased because I really like breakfast food and I can eat it any time of the day, but Denny’s is my go to restaurant when I’m in town. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and the food is consistently good, I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad order at this location. My mom and I often order one plate and share (cheaper for us) but we both leave full. Free coffee refills. Claw machine and animal videos playing on the TV. Need I say more?

There was a new waitress training that night and she did a wonderful job! Another girl also kept giving us quarters for the claw machine so my son could try and get the sonic toy hanging over the edge of the drop box. The cook was even really nice to the waitresses, which is also very important! Such a good experience. I would definitely go back again if I had the chance as everyone was very friendly and that’s rare to find in this industry these days.

There was a wait due to the Fourth of July however, Kristina was awesome and helped us plan our day as we’re visiting. She had another customers to tend yet, took time to answer our questions. Her customer service is top notch! Glad we stopped to have breakfast here.

Nov. 2022 Update – Food was good. Flavorful and hot which is great. They still haven’t figured out that if you’re going to put something in a bowl then you should provide a spoon. Overall seems to be better than last time.

Was busy. There were 2 cooks and I swear they were brand new. They were not getting orders correct. Even my order was wrong twice and it took over an an hour to get it the first time. And all it was, was French toast and eggs. REALLY???? The poor 1 waitress, yes I said 1, was tending to everyone in the place was wonderful. I felt bad for. She was very pleasant. The cooks couldn’t figure out how to make well done bacon. She had to bring it back to them 3 times. But either way, thank you, we were starving.

They don’t have many veggie options except waffles, pancakes and burger with plant based patty. I got the spicy skillet and replaced the meat with the plant based meat. Fries had this weird taste like the oil had to be changed, must have been in use for many hours. I would give a 3 rating, but giving an extra point for the amazing server we had.
