What a wonderful spot for breakfast! I’m a big fan of pancakes and breakfast fare in general, but the manager at this IHOP truly went above and beyond. Despite being short-staffed, he single-handedly managed the entire dining room. He and the cook maintained an impressive rhythm, clarifying orders with a mix of English and Spanish.
As the breakfast crowd grew, Richard kept everything running smoothly—seating guests, taking orders, and delivering food with calm efficiency. The coffee was hot, the pancakes were delicious, and my eggs were cooked to my request.
There’s a real talent for delivering great service under pressure, and I left as a very satisfied customer. The food quality met the standards I expect from the IHOP franchise.
This location will be a regular stop when we come to Springfield for business or for pleasure.

Went there at about 9:45 am. Got seated and it took them until 10:15 am just to order. Our food didn’t arrive until 11 am! Every table was dirty around us. The host that was seating people sat two parties at dirty tables and didn’t even think of cleaning the tables off? Pretty lazy host. I’d suggest firing them. It wasn’t even that busy but there was such a long wait. Server was super sweet! But over all it looked like no one knew what was going on. Sad really as ihop used to be so good! Now I understand why they are all closing unfortunately.

Had a great experience at my local IHOP Coffee, chicken and pancakes were wonderful.
Also, shout-out to Zoey, she took the initiative and went the extra mile to make sure I was taken care of. She listens, pays attention to every detail, and is an absolute rockstar. I’ll definitely be coming back.

We were the only people eating there,the server not once checked on us. Didn’t ask if we needed a refill. We had to flag them down to have anything. I ordered the crepes that were “meh” at best. The pictures showed the cream inside,it came without. When we asked about it they said it didn’t come with any. Ok,fine. Can I get some? After 10 min he came back and said they were out. The biscuits and gravy came with about a teaspoon of gravy,we asked for more. The poached egg was very rubbery and chewy. We requested new eggs and it took 25 min to receive them. Then we found a hair in the food. Server offered no discount or apology. We all agreed we will not be back.

Took 5 min to be seated, upon being seated we were not acknowledged by any of the wait staff. We sat at our table for 20 minutes and still no one acknowledged us or took our drink order. In the meantime, 2 people came in were seated and immediately got their drinks. While waiting the hostess was on her phone in plain view. This was around 1240 in the afternoon, it was not busy. We ended up walking out.

Stopped in for a quick bite and had an amazing dinner! Our server was very polite and helpful, absolutely amazing with my kiddos and putting so much personality into our visit. He made our late night a little easier for sure! The dining room was clean and the food was delicious!

Sitting trying to have a nice breakfast while listening to the Music they are playing over the speakers throughout the restaurant well also listening to the music blaring from the kitchen was quite distracting. The service was absolutely horrible. Slow and I was ignored the entire time couldn’t get a refill on my drink. I asked for a diet Pepsi was served a regular Pepsi And was never seen to get a replacement. My waitress had more food On her shirt than I did on my plate when she served it to me, there was one waiter That looked and acted professionally. Everyone else was dressed like slobs not a real good representation for a restaurant.

I decided to reward myself after finishing a 10 week fitness challenge at Farrell’s eXtreme Bodyshaping gym with french toast, eggs and bacon at IHOP (and a take home order of protein pancakes).
I would like to commend my server, Kaylee, for providing me with excellent service! She made sure my food was made correctly (I was sitting near the pick-up window and could hear her make corrections with the line cooks). I totally admit that I can be “picky” with my food being cooked well done but with her going the extra mile was really appreciated! I did let het manager know and I hope it gets passed on up the chain of command.

Long wait to be seated we were the only ones waiting then we waited 50 min for food. Lost him a couple times waiting for coffee.I asked for crispy hashbrowns ( not even close) asked for crispy bacon ( ) pan cakes were dough asked if they’d take bacon off said no I will have them make more waited 10 min he forgot we paid and left. Won’t ever go back to that one. $60.00 a complete waist.

We had such a great experience at IHOP! The staff was welcoming from the moment we walked in, our food came out hot and fresh, and our server was attentive without being overbearing. Everything was cooked perfectly and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back — thank you for a great meal
