I had an extremely disappointing and uncomfortable experience at this restaurant. After reading previous reviews, I realized I may not be the only guest who has felt treated differently, which is deeply unfortunate.
To begin, I ordered a water with lemon but was brought an old sweet tea that tasted spoiled. When I politely informed the server that I had ordered water, she argued with me instead of correcting the mistake. Meanwhile, everyone else at my table received the correct drinks without issue.
The situation became worse when food was served nearly two hours later. Every other person at the table — all of whom were white — received their meals except for me. I am African American, and despite clearly being part of the same party, I was completely overlooked. When I mentioned that I still had not received my food, the waitress walked away without addressing the concern.
After waiting an additional 30 minutes, my food was finally brought out long after everyone else had finished eating. At that point, I respectfully declined the meal. The server appeared upset, despite the circumstances. My fiancé still paid for the uneaten meal and even left a $30 tip, despite the poor service.
This experience was not only frustrating but disheartening. In 2026, every customer deserves to be treated with equal respect and attention regardless of race. I sincerely hope management takes situations like this seriously and works toward ensuring all guests receive fair and professional service.

WOW! Amazing food and surprisingly affordable for the quality. The portions were huge, and everything tasted so fresh! Are server Nichole was so funny and great she kept the laughter coming and made our dining experience phenomenal, even with kids she made us feel very welcomed and never got upset with the loudness or mess. AMAZING JOB! And the dining area was clean and cozy. We will return in the near future.

Absolutely phenomenal! The food tasted amazing came out hot and fresh! Our server Taylor was absolutely amazing and friendly made us feel very welcomed. The restaurant was clean and cozy great atmosphere we will definitely be returning! Thank you Denny’s for the great service!

Angie is the absolute best server we’ve had for the overnights. She always makes sure we have everything we could need before we even ask for it. She’s so thoughtful and a real genuine person: after 1-2 visits during overnights, my husband and I were immediately regulars for her! She always strikes up the best conversation but never hangs around awkwardly while we eat. It is always a pleasureable experience when Angie is around!
