I do not write bad reviews on the norm. But what I received was unacceptable. Take note of the receipt. I did not order any drink…. Why was my bag opened, a used chocolate (unsure what liquid) straw and there was melted chocolate ALL IN THE BAG (DID I MENTION THE USED STRAW???). The mystery chocolate liquid seeped through the bag, stained my couch, got all over my food. To top it all off, the avocados were black. Unsure if any of the food was any good since my order was CONTAMINATED BEFORE IT EVEN LEFT THE RESTAURANT. Do better or don’t offer delivery.

I placed my order at 7:45am today with the rude lady lady of color with the two braids and left around 8:06am with some lukewarm hard top unfavorable pancakes that tasted like they hadn’t even changed the grease I was anticipating these pancakes after not coming here for around 20 years more or less. I stop in once a week in the evenings. Always the best waitress there. She remembers what I like, is fast, friendly, and takes care of me. Bathrooms are clean for a Dennys. The whole place is in good shape, many Dennys are not maintained well. Some of the best scrambled eggs Ive had.

we went last night on sunday 12/21 around 9/10pm and we were the only customers, there was only 1 server and prob 1 or 2 cooks and we had 12 people. our server was Bree and she did amazing, she took all 12 orders and remembered everything perfectly without even writing it down! we also got our food out fast and it all tasted so good! she was sweet and funny too 🙂

Mrs. Annie is our server every time we come in for breakfast. She is absolutely amazing and such a beautiful person. She is so caring and always asks us how we are doing. We don’t get to come to Denny’s very often as the town we live in, Salina KS, doesn’t have one. But every time we come back to Raytown Mrs. Annie remembers us and our drink selection. This visit we are in town due to the death of our sister and Mrs. Annie was so caring and offered her condolences. She handled us with great care and made sure we were as comfortable and supported as possible. Thank you Mrs. Annie for always going above and beyond to care for your customers!

Im only giving this a 5 star review because ms annie took care of me. I had a guy named Glen take my to go order then watch me sit there for 20 minutes then admit he didnt even put my order in. Ms Annie was very sweet and got me my order in less than minutes after hearing about my situation. If you come to this location this is the woman you should look for

We ate there September 14, 2025 and had a great experience. Two people greeted us with smiles when we walked in. It felt like coming in to their home. They were energetic and greeted us warmly.
There were several other customers, but no line for seating. The server greeted us and brought coffee and waters quickly. He was understated, not as lively as the others, but very polite, proactive, and friendly.
The kitchen got backed up, and he told us before we were annoyed. Very professional and proactive.
We had not been there for a few years after a few bad experiences.
Those days are nowhere in sight now.
The employees talked with each other, joked together, and helped each other. It seems like a great place to work! When the workers are happy, everything is better.
We will return, and I hope others go there too.
