We are here before a Red Wings game and were happy to be able to get a table. We were quickly seated and our drinks and food order was also taken quickly. The food menu wasn’t huge but the selection was good. I have the buffalo chicken wrap and my husband had the steak quesadilla. Everything was cooked well. Prices were a bit high, but not outrageous. Overall a good experience.

Stopped in before the Halsey concert at the Fillmore and they were so kind and fast! The lady even directed us to a sip n read wine bar!

The blonde hostess was extremely rude for no reason. We weren’t rude, come here before every Red Wings game, have never been spoken to so rudely. Food was great, our waitress was lovely, but if that’s blonde, ponytail hostess is ever working again, we will not be attending.

Been to Bookies 2 years in a row with our Youth Hockey team prior to Red Wing game. I wanted to do a review as both occasions the service has been above and beyond. It’s never easy serving 10 kids and parents but the staff were very accommodating and patient . All orders were quick and on point. I personally had the All American burger which was very good. Parents loved the beer in a bucket deal. Perfect parking on site as well for the game.

I was seated in Jamie’s section and she personally went behind the bar and made my drink! Her service was beyond excellent! She was polite, attentive, and an exceptional bartender/server.

I was in need of some good food and some AC after the Tigers game and did not disappoint. Wings and chilli were killer. Brandon was a beast behind the bar and was greeted with super friendly vibes from Spank the security guy. It was just what the doctor ordered. Have to siesta but prolly will check out the night scene.

Was at bookies for after the redwings game and the bartender Will was amazing. Let me reiterate that it was Will who really made the experience memorable. He is truly a gem and will make your experience one that you will never forget. His sarcasm and sassy witt was delightful.

Had a good time, they had two servers running the place on a night with events going on downtown Detroit. So, we waited for some things unfortunately. Food was ok, the mac and cheese bites have noodles inside that was way too done so they were kind of just like cheese bites at that point. The chicken BLT sandwich was delicious though. Not sure where the grilled pretzel was though, was just a regular hamburger bun. French fries were awesome. Bathrooms were a bit nasty as you can see in the photo, probably because nobody is there to clean them I think three people were running the entire place. Might want to put a sign by the door that says seat yourself, instead of yelling at everybody that walks in to find a seat wherever.. Simple one page menu. Prices, well, like a lot of places lately they’re up there. $35 for an app. drink and a sandwich. Put the tip in there and it’s over $40. Probably won’t be back, was just easy cuz our parking spot was right there.

Visited last week during a work event. The staff are incredibly friendly, the drinks were top notch and the food we tried was beyond excellent. The Irish Nachos were crispy and flavorful, and frankly beat the food at the next restaurant we stopped at. I’ll make a point of returning when I’m next in Detroit.
