It makes me so sad to write this review. I literally grew up in the old golden dolphin before it changed names, my entire family would go there all the time. I live right down the block and pass it daily and have noticed for the last year or two it just constantly looks empty, I see a lot of recent 5 star reviews but every time I pass the place there is no one or one single table with people so that seems odd. I literally pass it every single day all different times. I have told my wife about the times I would go to the old diner so we said let’s just go and check out now that they have changed names. Now again, it was COMPLETELY empty inside besides us and somehow the Service was lacking. They seemed to take forever to come back to the table each time. Silver wear was disgusting, the place needs a good deep clean. The food was just ok. I love diner food, this was disappointing. I got pancakes which were soggy; my wife got eggs that were ok. Literally got the most simple meals we could get and somehow they still lacked taste. It’s sad but the place has changed. I know how hard it is to run a business in 2025 but this was visit was super disappointed. I think I’ll just keep the good old memories and not be back to be disappointed again

We couldn’t have been luckier to come across this spot. Food was the highlight among generous and joyful service. Delish salmon and rice, lots of sides, we loved and enjoyed everything we ordered. Host was a gem and a shining light. Thanks for our welcome. Will absolutely be back again!

I took my family of six here for a breakfast lunch, lol, my own experience begins with first cup of coffee which was excellent excellent. My food order for me was thick French toast with melted butter, real maple syrup. Well done crispy bacon, done to a perfect crisp. I ordered two soft well beat scrambled eggs. Served the way I like! My family all had the same high regard for what we ate! Guys at the GGD, keep it going until the next time
