I just had one of the most disgusting breakfasts of my life at Denny’s, and whoever is running that kitchen needs to reevaluate their career choices. I ordered a simple breakfast—eggs, hash browns, toast, and a steak. What I got looked like someone cooked it during an earthquake with their eyes closed.
The eggs were so drenched in grease that I had to physically lay a napkin under one just to soak up the puddle forming on the plate. Think about that. I had to use a napkin like an emergency oil spill cleanup. A diner egg should not require environmental intervention.
The toast was a whole different nightmare. It wasn’t buttered, it was marinated in grease. You could see the oily shine from across the table. One slice had so much grease soaked through it that holding it felt like grabbing a damp sponge that had just wiped down a fryer.
The hash browns were limp and lifeless, barely browned, like they gave up halfway through cooking. And the steak came out bleeding on the plate with zero sear, zero care, and zero pride—just thrown out there like the cook was actively trying to insult me.
If this Denny’s has a head cook, they should be fired immediately for gross negligence. No customer should ever be served food that looks like it survived a slip-and-slide made of grease. This wasn’t “diner greasy,” it was “call a mechanic because your breakfast needs an oil change” greasy.
I walked out because I refuse to pay for a meal that felt like a health code violation in real time. If this location keeps serving food like this, they should forget the Grand Slam and start offering a complimentary bottle of antacids with every order.

Dennys managment ‼️ if employees preforms a poor job that’s because you guys are not on top of it and perhaps poor training. First of all the service was unprofessional, the lady that sat me down I asked her if I’ll order with her and she goes “nah you’ll order online” um like ummm ok.. is that suppose to be funny? Then the same lady comes back and she sit down next to me to take my order like are you my friend or buddy that you suppose to be sitting down with me to take my order (thats definitely new to me) Then when I asked for a check, she hands it to me and pulls the hand back so I don’t grab it, what kind of high school moves are those?! I’m a client, not a buddy nor a friend. Weird attitude and behavior, managment you need to have a talk with Natisha K, because this wasn’t normal. There was another server Vicky, much professional, polite and nicer. Also tables not really cleaned, so were the plates and my coffee cup, are you missing the dishwasher personnel or something? Also as a server if you see the cup is dirty aren’t you suppose to get a clean one? The sausage from French toast tested like dish washer soap. Just weird experience to be honest.

I come to Dennys often. Almost every night. And I’ve got to say Sierra and Nikki are absolutely amazing Their service is always spot on. These girls always have the biggest smiles and the beat hospitality. NEVER a dull moment with these two. I’m writing this review not only for the wonderful waitress we had today but the cooks who were in the kitchen during our visit. My sister is kinda a picky eater and when we normally go to a establishment she has to send food back cause it’s not quite made to her liking. But this experince was perfect her food was perfect and she was very pleased with the flavor and way her food was handled. pancakes were fluffy and french toast was delicious, hospitality was amazing. thank you to the team who worked during our visit.

We were seated 20min before the waitress checked on us. Food was ineatable! My chicken was chewy, stringy, and spongy. My husband’s French toast looked like regular bread that was burned. His ham didn’t look like I even saw the grill.

Terrible service at this place. I was standing in line in front of me, everyone was seated, and the staff turned around and walked away from the reception desk. I stood there like an idiot, waiting for five minutes without getting anything done, then turned around and walked away.

Lunchtime Review: Great service, but not all the food was good. I ordered lunch online for me and my partner. My partner ordered the Fried Fish Platter with Fries, Broccoli and a Garden Salad with Ranch Dressing. I ordered the Smokehouse Melt with Hash Browns and Cheese. I picked up the order right on time and it was packaged nicely, with utensils and lots condiments, even tartar sauce for the fish. My partner enjoyed the fish. The fries and broccoli were what he expected. The salad was quite large, so we split it. The salad was fresh and delicious, and we had plenty of dressing for it. I really enjoyed the salad, but I didn’t like anything I ordered. The Smokehouse Melt had little chunks of brisket on the sandwich that were totally burnt, dry and stringy. I couldn’t even eat it as a sandwich because everything just kept falling out of the bread. The bacon on the sandwich, which the menu described as “crisp” was not crisp at all. It was stretchy and rubbery. I don’t think the hash browns were fully dehydrated before cooking, because they were full of hard pieces and were very dry. My partner enjoyed his meal, but I only enjoyed half the salad he ordered.
Dinnertime Review: I was stuck in Sullivan all day and, long story short, I gave this Denny’s another chance at dinnertime. I placed another order online for my partner and I. My partner stuck with the same order as earlier, the Fried Fish Platter with Fries, Broccoli and a Side Garden Salad. I went for something completely different and ordered the delicious sounding Double Berry Banana Pancake Slam. I ordered it with Fries, Ham and Scrambled Eggs with Cheese. Normally, I would have ordered hash browns with a breakfast order, but I didn’t like the hash browns I got earlier, so I ordered fries instead. My order again was ready right on time. This time … there was no tartar sauce for the fish. There was not one single slice of banana on my Double Berry Banana Pancakes either, only strawberries on top and what looked like blueberries in the pancakes. The menu shows the pancakes covered in banana slices and strawberries. There was also NO butter or syrup provided for the pancakes. The Ham, Scrambled Eggs and Ham were good.

It’s truly an amazing feeling to be noticed the moment walking into a Denny’s. My highest respect to the hostess Vanessa (Nessa) for being a very caring and attentive person, greeting everyone walking in ,even while attending other customers at the moment, letting them know that they will be attended to really soon also.
This has been one of the few Denny’s that actually have really good people who care’s for their customers.

Amazing experience all around. Sierra and Nicki absolutely killed it with their customer service attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. They made sure everything was right without hovering and kept the vibe positive and upbeat the whole time.
The overall atmosphere was relaxed, comfortable, and exactly what you want when you stop in to eat. Great service, good energy, and a team that clearly cares about the customer experience. Huge shoutout to Sierra and Nicki for making this visit stand out. I’ll definitely be back.
