So, the pizza, the salad, the pizza bowls…all delicious. But, COME ON MAN. The size of the salad vs Salad dressing is insane. And if you want another one, you have to pay extra. Which I get paying extra for extra dressing, but only when it’s proportional. Food taste is 5 ⭐s. But the scam on the salad dressing brought my rating down.

Such an enjoyable dinner. Ordered a large pizza with half pepperoni and half mushroom, the garden salad, and BBQ wings with ranch. Everything was delicious. The garden salad was a huge portion and everything tasted fresh. I really love their wings, too. The mushrooms are canned and not fresh, but they were still fine. The person taking the order is always so friendly. Great place! Would definitely come back here!

Went here for about three hours on my first visit to Detroit with my fiancé. She grew up on this place. I have traveled the world and believe this is the best pizza I have ever had. Also, their sandwiches are incredible Ashleigh the bartender was so cool and fun to interact with as were the rest of the patrons that were there.
Can’t wait to visit again. Will be a “must” meal next time I am in Detroit.

In town for work and finally checked out the legendary Green Lantern Pizza—hands down the best Detroit-style pizza I’ve ever had! That crust and crunch? Absolutely fire. The sauce, cheese, and topping ratio was spot on. We shared a massive Greek salad (easily enough for two) and tried the Everything and Chicken Sicilian pizzas—both incredible. Our waitress was super friendly and gave us awesome recs. Already counting down the days until I can go back. Green Lantern, please come to Austin, Texas!

This is by far my favorite pizza place! Not only is Green Lantern my favorite pizza company, but this is BY FAR the best Green Lantern location. I have never had a bad experience with Green Lantern and never received food from this location that didn’t more than exceed my expectations. My go to is a round double pepperoni pizza with a toasted sub. Their subs are so good too; they have coleslaw on them which you would think wouldn’t work on a sub but they’re absolutely delicious. They even give you a pickle and a couple peppers with the sub. I get take out a lot but I love to dine in here once in a while. The atmosphere is great, pretty chill and relaxing. You even get free popcorn to snack on while you wait for your food and sip on a nice beer, a yummy cocktail, or even a good old glass of pop. They have the very best pepperonis ever!!! They get all toasty and crispy, they’re so good!!! Green Lantern truly is the king of pepperoni!!! To Green Lantern: You guys are the best! Keep doing what you’re doing!!!

My group came here on a Friday night, it was packed inside and the take out line was practically out the door! Make sure to plan for extra time and be patient with the staff on Friday/Saturday nights so you aren’t dissatisfied with the speed of service. The atmosphere can be pretty loud but I didn’t mind, the pizza was great!

I’ve heard for years from my mom and my godbrother about how good Green Lantern Pizza in Madison Heights is. I’d never tried it, but I’ve always wanted to. This past weekend I finally had the chance, and honestly, I was really disappointed. I don’t know if it was because it was Super Bowl Sunday and they were overwhelmed, but the food just wasn’t good. The pizza was cold, the eight-piece chicken tenders were burnt and I only got four tenders not eight, and the wing dings tasted old.
The place is always packed on the weekends when I drive by, so maybe I just caught them on a bad day. But based on my experience, it was one of the worst meals I’ve had in a while. I was really looking forward to it, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. I probably won’t be going back.
If you’d like, I can also make a shorter version for a Google review or something a little less harsh but still honest

The pizza was ok the top could have been a bit more done but the flavor wasn’t bad.. The waitress wasn’t too friendly.. When we walked in there was a staff member doing silverware and napkins.. She greeted us and said she’d get that table wiped off for us in a sec. So then the waitress comes to take the order and my husband says she said she was going to wipe the table this woman wipes across the table with her hand .. I thought that was rude and ordinarily I would have made that know however I just let it be it’s just pizza however guest service is important.. I’m a business owner and I understand that we all have a choice to spend our money wherever we choose therefore when we’re chosen we have try to provide good service ♥️

We stopped in after an outing at Great lakes crossing. We called ahead. Because in the past this place was always on a wait. The phone call was kinda weird. Not sure if it was understood what I was asking. But. We took the chance and headed in.
We arrived and there was plenty of parking. Walked in and sat right down. The place is SMALL and tables are really jammed in. Almost to many to be honest. The dark / black decor is dark bar type atmosphere. One thing I immediately noticed was the floors. Very ” trafficked ” this night.
Once sat we were greeted by our waitress. No small talk here. Straight and to the point. Almost comes off cold and can’t be bothered.
Ordered salads. Large garden. ( Nice sized salad. All fresh. Some of the best little tomatoes I have had in a while ).
Ordered small cheese bread. Looked amazing, hot and appetizing. HOWEVER – had a metallic taste to it. The pan it was baked on. If it wasn’t for the ranch. This would be a no go for sure. Maybe it’s time to change pans.
Ordered the Ruben sandwich – piled high and the vinegar sugar Cole slaw complimented it very well.
Ordered a medium pizza with pepperoni and extra sauce. Pizza was very hot and very good. However $15 for a medium. Maybe a tad to much for the size received.
Bar b que chicken square pizza was said to be very good. Better then jets and priced better as well.
Beverages were weak. I noticed both the ginger ale and the mountain dew were weak tasting.
Three stars because the service was not very friendly. The cheese bread had a metal pan taste and the pizza price was a tad high for the size. All be it very good.
I recommended this place to our group. We overall enjoyed it. I think we will search next time for other options when we do a small mall trip. Thank you guys !
