Best experience we’ve ever had at a Denny’s! Our waitress Whitney was amazing! Though slow when we got there, this little diner filled up quick, but she was on it! Between making recommendations about menu items and keeping us topped off with hot coffee and sweet tea, she somehow found time to heat up our syrup when she saw we were disappointed it was on the table and not warmed as some other places do. Will definitely go back as the food was good but the service was OUTSTANDING!

Whitney my server for the Brunch visit was wonderful. She was very attentive & made sure that we had everything that we needed. Whitney is awesome, not only was she serving my table but about 7 other tables at the same time. Whitney deserves a good vacation & all paid for by Dennys. I have to say with Whitney’s patience & good spirits, Whitney would be an amazing asset for any company. Don’t loose her Denny’s. You have a good one.

This Denny’s, located inside a hotel, is a good spot for a meal in St. Augustine. Our server, Ben, was super nice and attentive, making the experience even better. The food was delicious and hit the spot just before some beach time. The location is really convenient, just off 16 and close to beach access. Definitely a solid choice for a quick and satisfying meal.

How horrible to arrive and only order 2 hot chocolate and 1 ice cream to be pregnant 8 months old and with so many desire to drink chocolate and let me wait for more than 50 minutes. I bothered and asked for my refund and she did not want to, and there was when she dedicated herself to making my drinks, and the worst thing is to be pregnant and 8 months old.

During my visit, the restaurant was clearly short-staffed due to what felt like poor planning. Andrea, a kind and hardworking employee, was doing her best—taking orders as a server, bussing her own tables, greeting guests at the front, and managing the wait list. Unfortunately, I witnessed an older woman—who seemed to be acting as the manager—speak to Andrea in a loud and unprofessional manner, calling her “lazy” within earshot of guests.
This was not only uncomfortable to hear but also unacceptable in any workplace, especially in front of customers. I left concerned that the work environment is not supportive for the staff who are trying to serve guests well.
While I might give the restaurant another chance, I’m unsure if the service culture will improve. After leaving, we went to the brunch spot next door and even overheard others complaining about Denny’s service that morning.
Coming from Savannah, where true southern hospitality is the norm, I expected a much warmer and more professional atmosphere. Denny’s in St. Augustine needs to do better.

Just wanted to give a shout out to my server Shelby!! She was super friendly and made me feel at ease while there. On top of that, she was serving everyone else that was dining as well, and was super attentive to all details. Anybody who eats here amd has her as their waitress is in for a good time 🙂

Apparently, it’s the only one open 24 hours a day, so it’s like an oasis in the early morning and late at night when you want something to eat, because everything closes early, especially during the week. Very good service, and the food is very well prepared and served.
