I visited during dinnertime, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the restaurant wasn’t crowded, so no waiting for a table was required. Was looking for Hong Kong style café in Los Angeles, tried a few places but were all disappointed, end up finding this place in San Gabriel, happy to say it is very good, and they have free refill for milk tea!!!! The wait staffs are attentive. This will be my go to place when I go back to Los Angeles to have my Hong Kong style café fix.

If you want Hong Kong style eats, this is the place to go. There are a lot of course but this is one of our favorites. Delicious food and great service. Usually very busy so expect a wait. My favorite things to get are the coffee tea mixed drink (鴛鴦) and the pineapple bun with butter (菠蘿包). Also love the fried noodles and the macaroni soup.

Loved everything about this place. Great menu, great prices. Have been wanting to try it for awhile. Egg sandwich w/ spam was simple but tasty, the minced pork w/rice and egg was superb, and the wonton noodle soup was excellent. And the pineapple rolls w/ butter! Can’t wait to come again. You gotta love Hong Kong breakfast because you get the most value for your money. Nothing can truly beat authentic Hong Kong breakfast in Hong Kong but this place is close enough. When you come here, expect a bit of a wait because it gets crowded early in the morning.

I love the corn beef and egg sandwich here. It taste like the one I always get in when I’m in Hong Kong. The congee and the cheung fun are delicious. The HK style milk tea is the bomb plus unlimited refills! The only reason I gave 4 ⭐️ is because of the long wait, and after we’re done, it took another 10 minutes to get the bill (apparently, they couldn’t find our bill)….plus the lack of parking space. Well, there’s plenty of street parking, just park a bit further away, your stomach will thank you after a big meal here

Very crowded like at their other location so had to wait almost 30 minutes or longer for a table. Got the steamed beef flour roll 4.95, egg spam ham corned beef sandwich 6.25, dried vegetables, pork rib congee 9.25, and chinese donut 3.50. Food was pretty good for the price. There is also free wifi here.
