Seated right away on a weekday at noon, maybe 1 other table was there. Not impressed at all with the cinnamon roll they warm up in the microwave from the freezer, it was very tough. Omelets were okay, not fluffy – very thin, biscuits looked a bit charred but at least tasted good! Not great service, seemed untrained and just thrown in to the job. Could have been a better experience if even just the service was improved.

Great food and usually friendly until extremely busy last week Saturday and after standing in line for 15 minutes was told no take outs at this time, so I left, came back and asked to be seated. Works everytime, I’m a seasoned chief. But now, , a damn good, clean carney, like most of us at Skerbeck Family Carnival !!! ✌

Good food, reasonable prices. Did not expect a live five piece jazz band on a Tuesday night but they were excellent. Unfortunately the place fell short on the decor category. And I needed to use the men’s room but the door was strangely propped open. I soon found out why. When I closed it to do my business the temp in the room quickly escalated to sauna hot. Of all strange issues to have.

For better or for worse the service wasn’t memorable, though I do remember it being swamped. It’s also been almost a year since I was there. My faaaavorite thing on the menu was the pb&j fries – sounded too weird so we ordered it, had to try it right? Went back several times within that week for those dang fries.

I WOULD HAVE GIVEN THIS DUMP ZERO STARS BUT IT WASN’T AN OPTION! How the heck are you people giving this “going out of business soon” restaurant anything over a 1? Horribly over priced and the worst portion for price l have ever experienced. $9 for 3 pieces of bread, for French Toast, you get no bacon, nothing else…$9.50 for 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon and FIVE BITES, OR FORKFULS OF HASH BROWNS! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! In my entire life, l have never been served hash browns that didnt cover half of the plate, or more. I so badly wanted to just walk out. $30 for breakfast, PLUS TIP!…can buy 7 days worth of breakfasts for that! I have been going to Dee Lite for 25 years and the portions have grown smaller while the bill has increased and today was thee last time l will set foot in this place. It wont last too much longer serving 1/4 cup of hash browns, what a joke! Do yourself a favor, go ANYWHERE ELSE! Dee Lite and its owners/ proprietors should be embarrassed!

I loved the atmosphere of this place. It has a beautiful 1950’s/1960’s atmosphere to it and the artwork on the ceiling is absolutely gorgeous. The food was above average and unique featuring breakfast and lunch. The service was good, guess my only complaint was the size of the beverage glasses. Way too small! I needed like four refills.

Good prices, good portions and great Mushroom Pasta. Other than that, I was pretty disappointing. It was pretty cold at the lake and we wanted something to warm up so we ordered coffee and some soup. The coffee never came, and the soup came in last. They also told us that they could make a pasta dish for my daughter, they actually couldn’t and instead they just gave us chicken fingers in replacement without even asking! I think everything else was ok but it might have been because we’re starving.
