Amazing, authentic tacos!
We arrived at 12:15 and managed to grab the last free table — it’s so popular that people were already queuing down the street.
The food was brilliant, and the service was just as good. There was a great selection of beers, and the kids loved playing on the old Mortal Kombat arcade machine while they waited for the food.
Add in a rock/metal soundtrack and it creates a fantastic alternative vibe that really sets the place apart.

I know that if you have to queue for food then it’s something different. Met the very lovely Lauren outside and had a nice chat. Got inside the crazy restaurant after 15 minutes and sat at the bar, ordered drinks (plenty of craft beer!) And our food (I had the belly pork starter and beef tacos, missus had ground beef and chorizo tacos with cheesy nachos to share) it was amazing they even made wifey an ‘off-menu’ cocktail! I can’t recommend Death by Tacos highly enough, but if you are in Chester then get on it here!!! You will not be disappointed

Walked past at 5pm as it was opening and walked into DBT at 5.15 and the place was packed.
Luckily there was 2 seats going spare.
Great service, food and music.
Very good atmosphere.
Good menu to go at, choice for everyone, drinks menu looked good too but only had soft drinks.

I have wanted to eat here for years but living so far away never got the chance till now!
Food was so good, everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. We had the Chorizo nachos and the pork belly special and could not fault it at all. Great selection of drinks as well.
And obviously the music and general theme were the best!
Cant wait to come back and try some more in the future.
