We went without reservations, we were very well welcome and were placed into the external Barnum. That was super, even they were -3 outside inside was great.
We were supported by an exceptional waiter who, despite lot of people, took time to explain and advise in what to order.
Thanks to him to makes us discovering the best café from Stuttgart!! He was right, surprising and nice discovering.
We choose an Angentignen filet….amazing.
And the small 3 accompanying sauces are a discovery and amazing.
We spent an exceptional moment, because the dishes is exceptional but also because the waiter was exceptional.

My husband and I went here for lunch, after being suggested by our friends. Our friends told us they went to Abacco’s three times in a matter of two or three days, so we knew they loved it!!
I wasn’t very hungry, so I thought about getting a salad and chili con carne. But when I saw the steaks and hot stones being bought out, I couldn’t resist. They have many kinds steaks to choose from, but my husband and I both ordered US prime filet. It comes with three sauces: BBQ, horseradish and chimichurri. But- they have about five flavored butters that you can pay for to go along with your steak. Fries come with your steak, but they have an assorted group of other sides you can pay for to go along with it.. I ordered sweet potatoes fries – they were really crispy and tasty.
They bring you your steak, partially cooked on one plate, then they bring your hot plate, so you can cut it as you wish and cook it to the temperature of your choosing. All of the service people were so nice, friendly, and the food was delicious. It was a really great experience. I will definitely go back if we’re ever in Stuttgart- I’m so glad our friends recommended Abacco’s to us.

The steak was cooked exactly as requested—perfect medium-rare with a strong crust and a juicy, tender center. Served on a hot stone, which isn’t a gimmick here; it keeps the meat at temperature and lets you finish it to your liking without killing the texture.
Quality of the cut is obvious from the first bite. Proper seasoning, no need to drown it in sauces (though the sauces provided were solid and well balanced). Fries were crisp, hot, and done right—not an afterthought.
This place understands meat. No shortcuts, no excuses, no overcomplication. If you’re serious about steak and don’t want mediocrity on your plate, this is a safe bet. I’ll be back.

The food was excellent. I ordered a 400g entrecôte (rib eye) and it was wonderful! It comes seared but very rare. Also, when I cut into it for the first time, the steak was very soft. It was seasoned very nicely. Once served, the steak can be cooked on a very hot stone to the diner’s desired level. This was a lot of fun to do. I also had the Krombacher Pils, which was a very nice tasting beer. My girlfriend had the chicken Caesar salad which she thoroughly enjoyed. The bread in the basket was very good. Finally, we had the cheesecake. It was very, very good. It tasted rich and delicious, and the flavor is similar to cheesecake from the better restaurants in the United States.
My only complaint about the food was the knoblauch krauterbutter. It tasted wonderful and I loved every bit of it, even on my bread. However, there was a lot of it and I didn’t use more than a quarter of it, both on my steak and on my bread. If it’s possible to get less of it in a smaller dish and then pay less for it, that would be ideal.
The service was great! Our waiter did a great job.

Highly recommend a reservation. It is absolutely worth it! The steaks are cook-your-own style, which makes every steak perfect. The sides are extra (other than fries), but they are endless. We got potatoes and grilled vegetables. The staff is attentive. The ambiance is elegant and romantic. Perfect place for a date night!

The steak is perfect. I ordered Argentina Rumpfsteak and us prime ribeye for my girlfriend. I have to say that the taste of us rib eyes was fantastic, except the price . The fries are with extrem specialties and you can take all you can eat. The drinks are nothing special, I wouldn’t recommend. The service is almost the best in I’ve ever met, the stuff is professional and patient, and no tips are needed. The atmosphere is perfect for dating or afterwork relaxing, it’s also a good place to grab some cocktails.

I have been here several times and have enjoyed it every time. The lunch specials are excellent and the food is always delicious.
This last time I went, we sat for dinner and were served by Angie in Abacco’s extended tent dining area. She was such a delight! Extremely thorough, made great recommendations (get the garlic bread and have a why not have another drink ), and we left so happy with everything.
