It doesn’t get any better than this! Cute little diner that really is a destination place to eat, although we discovered passing through. Service was great, selection excellent, ingredients fresh and plentiful. Local, delicious beef! Presented beautifully with large portions. I wish I had room to try some of their many pie flavors.

Fantastic food and service. The pies are a MUST. Went there for breakfast and the selection and food definitely did not disappoint. Cannot wait to return when I’m visiting from out of town.

Breakfast, two lunches and dinner – all were great! Breakfast sandwich was awesome especially the sausage; pie a la mode is a don’t miss [breakfast, lunch AND dinner!] – was lucky enough with early spring to get the strawberry/rhubarb too, one of the best!
They close at 4pm and cash saves – you’ve been warned, don’t dawdle.

Friendly staff, great local crowd, and the food is absurdly good. The fish tacos were so good! And awesome house coffee. Wife got some chicken club sandwich and a creamy zucchini soup which said was really good. I wouldn’t have expected food to be this good in an unassuming place but the reviews obviously speak for themselves. I didn’t get reception on my cell there and I don’t think they had wifi .

Everything was delicious and fresh tasting! I had pork chops, mashed potatoes and green beans with shrooms. The soup was a chicken/rice coconut curry soup that packed an amazing punch of flavor! Service was wonderful from start to finish as well! Thank you for an unforgettable first time experience!
If you’re passing through and need to feast, this is a stop you don’t want to pass up!

The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was inviting and relaxing. I had the Florentine Benedict with hasbrowns. Their Benedict could be improved. It was drowning in Hollandaise that along with the runny eggs I could not taste the other ingredients. Also, I recommend using less oil to cook the hasbrowns as they were soggy.

OMG, this is a gem of a find. If you’re passing through Dayville and you catch the cafe open, you must stop in and try their chicken fried steak. I’ve had this plate at greasy spoon cafes and dinners across the west and this one is by far the best. The steak tasted great with the breading perfect, the gravy was thick and peppery, the Hashbrowns were perfect, and the eggs were fluffy. The toast tasted like homemade bread and jam.

A Diamond among the fossils. When you’re in the area stop in. Great pies, great food. The photo is prime rib on sourdough toast. This half I’m saving for dinner.

Stopped by this place for pie and it did not disappoint. It’s very obvious a lot of love goes into the pie here! I had Marionberry pie a la mode and got a slice of pecan to go. Highly recommend.
