HANDS DOWN FIVE STARS! My best friend and I went here for lunch on a Saturday. To start off, our waitress was amazing! We had their House Made White Sangria, I raved to our waitress how good it was so she asked if she could bring us a sample of their red house made sangria to which we gratefully accepted. It was also AMAZING! My friend had the grilled chicken sandwich that she said had the PERFECT seasoning on it and I had the fish tacos! The BEST fish tacos I’ve ever had! Our sides were homemade potato chips, they were warm and perfectly salted!! Highly recommend this restaurant to EVERYONE!

Food was excellent, lots of flavor. The atmosphere is great, very historic and romantic feel other than being a little tight since it’s a smaller place. However this also results in the restaurant NOT being noisy as some are. We got there at the end of the night and our server must have been the bartender or they were short staffed. He was pretty short with us and not dressed nice like the other server. Not unfriendly, just not particularly friendly either and seemed to be in a rush. No biggie, it was late. We will definitely be back. The Alfredo was absolutely delicious. Kudos to the chef.

This tavern is a must visit!! The atmosphere takes you back to colonial Virginia. The service is fantastic and the most friendly people you will meet. I was amazed at the quality of food that emerged from the kitchen. Fried oysters were deliciously battered and perfectly fried. The pierogi tasted like they just rolled the dough seconds before sautéing them to a delightful golden brown and serving them. The peanut butter pie was light, airy, and a perfect finish. Full bar, several wines, and beers on tap to choose from.

What a great date night spot in the quiet town of Dayton! While the steak was a bit more done than I prefer it, it was very flavorful. Their sangria (both white and red) are easily the best in town!! The waiter was very friendly and offered great suggestions. They also have a delicious coconut pie that’s absolutely perfect. I’ll definitely be back!! 🙂

This was the best hidden gem we found in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we tried. The steamed shrimp was as good as any I’ve ever had at the coast. Crab dip and cakes were excellent as well. 10 out of 10 would reccomend to anyone in the area!

Five star classy place. The haddock fish tacos were the best I have ever had (great sauce) and homemade chips outstanding. My hubby loved his swiss cheese hamburger & great onion rings. Superb service despite being busy. Even got to chat with the friendly owner.

Was in the area and this looked nicer that a place that was very close. So glad we ate at Dayton Tavern. Cheesesteak was outstanding, and the homemade chips were amazing. Super nice server. Quaint and reasonable prices. Oh, can’t forget their made-in-house pies! Peanut butter pie was large, inexpensive, and delish! Helpful? Give me a quick thumbs up!
