Compact restaurant serving up well-known Mexican dishes & margaritas in a bright, colorful interior.

Great location on bike path and only a couple minutes from the Dennison Golf Course. Wonderful outdoor seating with umbrellas. Food was great I had an omelette and potatoes. All the veggies were grilled before going into the omelette and the potatoes were perfectly seasoned with onions and salt. Service was perfect did not feel rushed and got to enjoy the atmosphere. This was seriously one of my favorite breakfast stops in Ohio. Definitely a repeater.

The restaurant is very conveniently located in downtown Granville. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Right from the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home! We sat outside on the front patio. Service was fast and attentive. The food was ok – my fish tacos were good .
The guacamole maybe lacked flavor.
The prices seemed reasonable!

Prefix: I lived in lower Texas for 23 years. I have never been to a Mexican restaurant that charges for chips and salsa in addition to the meal. The spicy margarita was very flavorful and balanced ( The best part). Corn tortillas were not cooked (as I have typically been served). The portions are small, the flavor is good but wouldn’t call them authentic ( not even close). 2 Coctails, 5 tacos pretty std tacos, some chips and little bit of salsa, $61 I would not recommend this restaurant for Mexican food and certainly not for an affordable night out with the family.

LOVE the menu selections, fresh squeezed OJ (YUM!), and the servers are all so friendly. Seating nothing fancy, menu simple, but everything is super tasty. shrimp platter was very garlic heavy so be aware but the flavors were very appropriate. Just know its is very garlicky. My friends all got the fish tacos so maybe they know something I don’t, and I will order those next time. Might try their breakfast sometime too. Simple and unfussy. Lots of items I’d like to try so I’ll be going back the next time I am in Granville.

I’ve been here before for lunch and liked it. I thought it would be interesting to see how a Mexican restaurant would serve breakfast and I was quite surprised. I ordered an egg white veggie omelette with avocado toast and it was very tasty. My father-in-law got the cinnamon roll pancakes and they were excellent. My son got the breakfast burrito and liked it as well. The service is friendly and fast and the prices are good. I would recommend breakfast here for sure. The only strange thing was they were out of potatoes it’s the substitute beans and rice and I actually really liked it probably better than the potatoes.

I ordered the Taco Salad. I found the Taco meat to be bland and in need of seasoning. The only real flavors seemed to come from the dressing provided. My son had the steak fajitas and shared the same sentiments; bland and in need of some seasoning. In comparison, the Mexican restaurant three doors to the left, understands the need for seasoning. If you have a sensitive stomach or can’t eat really rich foods, then I would highly recommend this place.

The service was friendly and relatively quick even when we had a time constraint. The ambiance was also nice and not too crowded for lunch. Unfortunately, the food was just not good. We ordered the Potato Tacos and the Carnitas Chimichanga, which were both severely lacking in flavor. Would not recommend.

Our large group had a wonderful first experience at Day Y Noche today. Our server, MJ, was amazing. Very attentive and accommodating. We were a hungry group ordering a little of everything from the menu and it was all hot, fresh and delicious. The coffee was great. Tequila sunrise was tasty. Fresh squeezed Oj was so good.
We’re definitely adding this hidden gem to our list of favorite places in the area.

I recently had the displeasure of dining at Day and Night during my annual trip to Ohio for Lost Lands. Unfortunately, the experience was a huge letdown. The service was slow, and the food was subpar, lacking flavor and seasoning. It’s unacceptable for an establishment to call itself a Mexican restaurant when it fails to deliver authentic cuisine. I will not return to this establishment and would rate it zero stars if possible. On the other hand, my experience at Poncho’s was outstanding, with delicious and authentic food, and I highly recommend them.

Amazing food in such a cute little restaurant. Highly recommend their guacamole— so fresh and tasty! Their beef taco meat in their nacho appetizer is the BEST. Lots of great options and a super friendly staff too.
