Such a cute downtown coffee shop that offers some delicious lattes. My daughter and I visited- I had a cheesecake latte and she had a taro latte. Their pastries looked delicious as well. The decor is so aesthetically pleasing. Love the plants and books.

The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. You saw multiple meeting having meetings and or conversing with someone. The staff were friendly. The cashier was knowledgeable and polite. There’s limited parking outside of the building.
I ordered the Texas Latte per another customer’s suggestion. I opted for almond milk ($1 up charge ) and caramel drizzle(.50) and 1 shot instead of the 2 shots of espresso. I had a few coffee grinds in my drink however it wasn’t bad. I would recommend.

Shoutout to everyone else that raved about this place! The cafe it self is filled with beautiful art and multiple seating options. Whether you’re looking for a place to work or meet an old friend Day 6 is your spot.
The espresso it self is very smooth and didn’t leave a burnt taste in my mouth. The barista are friendly and quick! I think we waited a total of 3 minutes from taking my order to getting my drinks. Love love love!!

I was looking for a place where I could get a good cup of coffee & a cozy spot to read my book & found this place. I was not disappointed!
The vibe once you walk in is very chill. I knew I had found “my place”.
Baristas were extremely nice & I could tell they wanted me to have a great experience here.
After getting my coffee, as I was about to sit down, the gentleman reminded me about the lounge in the back that I had read about in previous reviews, but had forgotten about.
Oh yeah, this is what I’m talking about! It’s a smaller room with two couches along the walls, and bookcases (filled with books) along either end of the room. The lamps offer subdued lighting (plenty of light to read by in you’re next to one). The couches are comfy & it’s quiet. It’s wonderful.
Being a newbie to Houston, I’m glad I found this place early in my adventure, as this will definitely be a place that I will be returning to, time & time again.

Great place to stop before reporting to jury duty. I arrived at 6:30am so there was plenty of parking. Super cute atmosphere with art and hanging plants. There shelves filled with books and festive Christmas decor. All the Coffees you could want and several breakfast options. I got the Texas Latte with sugar free caramel- it was superb. And I ordered an egg and bacon breakfast taco. It was nice and large and delicious!
The barista was very friendly, too!

It’s stand out to us with the unique entrance, since it’s given a vibe of time and antique. I love the aesthetic and the architecture. The inside feels cozy and warm. It’s pretty crowded when we came (about 10-11am). We ordered the taro latte, and the taro frappe. They were both very sweet to our liking, and the tastes were just very syrupy. We prefer a powder or fresh taro better. Their bakery looks good, but we did not get to try any.

Day Six Coffee Shop is an absolute gem! The ambience is warm, inviting, and effortlessly stylish—perfect for relaxing or getting some work done. The location is super convenient and easy to walk to, making it a great spot for a casual stop or meet-up. I tried the Texas Latte and it was perfection—balanced, not too sweet, with just the right hints of vanilla and caramel. Bonus points for offering it as a sugar-free option! Every detail here, from the vibe to the drinks, makes Day Six a must-visit coffee spot.

Ambiance: Cute spot, a bunch of spots to sit but I could imagine it being crowded.
Parking: We were able to find a spot close by, but perhaps during peak hours it could be an issue
Order: Cheesecake latte, Texas latte and brisket sandwich
Service: The server was kind, the food arrived quick.
We actually drove 45+ mins to visit because we heard a lot about it and the reviews confirmed it. Unfortunately, we were left disappointed. I like my coffee creamy and mildly sweet. The cheesecake was too sweet so it wasn’t really something I’d get again, the Texas latte was decent but nothing I haven’t had before. Not worth the drive imo. The brisket sandwich is what really threw me off tho, it tasted like nothing. The croissant was so soggy and flimsy, the brisket itself looked old, the overall sandwich was horrible!
Would not return, unfortunately.
