After reading everyone’s reviews, we decided to try it out…and wow, we’re sure glad we did. The roast beef is AMAZING as was the Delaware! We’re now wishing we hadn’t waited so long to try it out. I have a feeling this will become our go to deli…it was that good.

Love Daved’s sandwiches, roast beef sandwhich is my favorite. He always has a cool story to tell while he prepares your meal. I love how he makes sure you get your money’s worth with the amount of meat on sandwiches. A lot better than most delis in the area!!

I cant even begin to describe to you how amazing this little deli is but we will start with the food, I’ve only eaten there twice but both times changed how I view a sandwich David has been making sandwiches for 35 years… I feel like that’s enough said, every sandwich is crafted not made by David right in front of you and is absolutely to die for I ate there the first time when I was done eating I called my wife and told her we are going to eat there once a week until I kick the bucket. Now on to the customer service, David is one of the most kind hearted and down to earth guys I’ve ever met and you wont feel like your in there to buy a sandwich it feels like your in there to visit with an old friend. If your reading this review go to David’s deli you will be thinking about it for hours after you eat.

My husband and I just randomly stopped in Daved’s for lunch today for the first time, and WOW! So Very passionate about his ingriendents it was like visiting a local sub shop in philly. You could really feel his passion for his menu. I loved that when we ordered he told us not to add this, or take away that, bc its his own special recipe that makes them so great, and he was rite! VERY generous portions of meats and toppings not to mention the intersting friendly conversation I could go on and on. Very pleased everyone must try it and Always love supporting locally owned businesses.

I really like sam and andy’s in Knoxville tn. But let me tell u daved’s deli is just as good or better. I will become one of his best customers. The roast beef and swiss is to kill for. Make sure u ask for the pickel on the side. Dave is just a nice person and my wife and i just enjoy is his stories.
