There’s plenty of seating and parking when you get there at 11 am for lunch. LOL! If they could turn up the A/C a little that would be great. If you get an extra piece of chicken in the BBQ chicken plate be prepared to pay $5 for that extra helping and it is small and dessert was $6 for a tiny pie. One thing I enjoyed a lot was the fried green tomatos with crawfish etouffee sauce and i’m definitely ordering that again next time. We had a great waitress and she made sure we always had refills and anything else we needed.

My wife and I arrived around 6:45 , theee weee 2 groups in the large dining room . Waitress took our drink order it arrived quickly . We ordered our appetizer and waited 30 minutes on it and another 30 min on salad then another 45 min on our dinner. The grits were dried out and not tasty the fried shrimp were not very good . My wife’s was very fishy tasting. To me the very best part of the meal was the salad and I’m sure it was bagged but it was still good. I’m local right here in Boyle we’ve tried to eat here a couple other times before but they were closed . I was eager to try out our local restaurant but was very disappointed.

First time visit and everything was on point!
From the service to the food. Our waiter’s name was Matt and he was so polite and amazing, he consistently checked on our table to make sure everyone was good. Also if he was busy the other waitress would assist. We came in and were seated ordered and , served all under an hour. And the food was simply delicious

The cheese in my quesadilla smelled and tasted bad(rotten, stinky), so I couldn’t eat it. I asked the server who was very kind if she could take it off our bill but the manager refused because “nobody else had complained about the quesadillas that day”.
There is a great story on the back of their menu talking about having Southern hospitality, and being kind principled people. Sadly, the only stereotype they lived up to was having terrible customer service, a Hallmark of the Mississippi Delta.

Ate there for lunch and food was mediocre. Went at night for dinner, order the crab claws and they were really good. I ordered hamburger steak with gravy and onions on the side. After a forty minute wait, it came to the table smothered in gravy and little to no onions. It tasted just like the old school TV Dinner , Swanson Salisbury Steak. It was awful and full of gristle. My dinner date’s food got to the table 15 minutes before mine.

Food took over 45 minutes to get to the table for. We ordered dessert and this took another 45 minutes maybe 50. Keep in mind the restaurant had about 4-5 tables seated total so very slow by Friday night standards. The fried cheesecake came out mushy and the bread pudding had the incorrect sauce.

I do NOT recommend. I went with a group of about 12-13. They knew of the reservations and how many to be expecting. Some guests were there before 6. Well after 8, still no food! I received my appetizer about 45 mins to an hr after ordering. The rest of the guest never received their appetizer. Another table of guests of about 10 came and got their appetizer within 10-15 mins while we have waited for over 2 hours! We watched the server go to another table and made sure they were serviced and had food within 20-30 mins. After 2 hours, we asked the waitress about our food and she replies “no one is ahead of y’all” and kept saying it’s coming up”. I usually don’t make issues a “color” issue but my table included all black guests where the whole ticket was paid for right after ordering and a tip was given as well up front. Service was poor and we never even received food after 2 and half to 3 hours and a refund had to be issued. We sat and watched 2 different parties come in and be served and get their food (even the other big party) within 30 minutes.(white)

Have gotten a lot better since firs topened, this was a second visit and do or die. Now for the meal
Red beans and rice, while it looked pretty good and tasted OK, the person who ordered it stated that it needed more spice and some TLC
Crawfish, platter was 3 pounds and contained 1 corn tot, 3 pieces of sausage grilled and some whole new potatoes. More than what you get elsewhere. The crawfish had some kick to it(spice) but not overly spicy. I liked them good size also. I again had the ribeye ordered medium got medium well. It was OK but being medium well I belive most of the taste was cooked out of it. Had baked potato with butter and sour cream. It was good. Appetizer was the bang shrimp. Some were cold and hard, and some were very good. Don’t know how that happened. Service was fast, seating was fast. Our server was polite and often returned for refills and to see if we needed anything else. So score 4 of 5 can do better with food. Service was much better than our first visit, but then again they had been open for only a couple of weeks. Will try again maybe order a burger or hamburger steak.

The food was okay, OK meaning it’s something you can definitely make food that tastes better in your own home. The wait time was very long & I ordered the shrimp po-boy which had good shrimp but the bread was not fresh and was dry and crumbly. NOW, what really concerns me are the prices with everything priced à la carte (separately) every menu item comes with zapps chips included, with an option to ADD fries for $3.00 with this being said, since fries are an ADD-ON I also requested to have my chips as well, however they told me I could not have both because I SUBSTITUTED them for fries. Keep in mind that substituting would be swapping the items with no extra charge, an ADD-ON is completely different from a substitution. Just be aware of all the prices and the rules that only makes sense to the workers because it’s definitely over priced for mediocre food & I will not be coming back.
