I tried several dishes from Darda Express, and everything was surprisingly delicious!
The Plum Sauce Flavored Peanut is the perfect starter — slightly sweet, fragrant, and super addictive.
The Golden Broth Lamb blew me away; the broth is rich and golden, the lamb is incredibly tender, and the flavor is comforting without being heavy.
The Plum Sauce Chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy inside, coated with a sweet-tangy plum glaze that makes it impossible to stop eating.
Portions are generous, food comes out fast, and everything tastes just as good as it looks in the photos.
Definitely a spot worth coming back to — highly recommended!

I’ve always loved Darda’s main location for authentic halal Chinese food so wanted to try Darda Express for their catering.
Working with the manager, Lucy to help coordinate catering from Darda was a great experience for my recent event.
I highly recommend their food and the delivery services on providing hot and delicious food, delivered on time.
We ordered the Mongolian beef, chili chicken, orange chicken, garlic eggplant, and chow mein. We also have some nut and sesame food allergies and they were able to accommodate that for their catering. We all enjoyed the food!
This review is in regards to their catering services with prompt delivery as I haven’t dined inside.

My new favorite Chinese take out! Excellent food! Delicious Mongolian beef seasoned perfectly with onions. Chicken corn soup is so hearty and yummy. Highly recommend 5 stars.

It’s a nice low-key place to get tasty Chinese/Taiwanese food. We ordered the beef soup noodle, Kung pao chicken, and fried springrolls. The quantity was generous but my partner and I ate it. The broth was flavorful without being salty. I wish the noodles were more chewy and thicker texture. Everything was made to order and fresh. The spring rolls came with 4 to an order and were crispy and fresh hot. What can be better than fresh fried spring rolls.

I was very excited to try Darda express since we usually frequent to the one at Milpitas which is the original restaurant. The combo fried rice was great but the chow mein was very blend and Mongolian beef has strange sour taste. The food definitely not on par and hope they get better. Halal Chinese is great option

Honestly I was just driving by and decided to stop here for lunch, I didn’t even realize there was a new restaurant right in my backyard!
I was a bit lost upon entering, but the staff was super friendly and recommended a few popular dishes for me right away. I decided to get the intestine/blood spicy rice noodle dish. It came out very quickly and was delicious! It has a good amount of spice, and the blood pieces were delicious! I’m usually not a fan of the intestine pieces as they’re too fatty, but this place prepares it well and it tasted good too.
Will definitely come back and try their many other dishes! Next time maybe I’ll see the menu 😀

Darda Express did a fine job with orange chicken (tender and sweet/spicy), Mongolian Beef (a bit different style than other places but still found it good), mixed vegetables (appropriately crisp and not overcooked), pot stickers, and egg rolls. It is a very good neighborhood Szechuan Chinese Restaurant. They also allow you to bring your own containers for take out that they fill with your food so you can be zero waste like I am. Plastic single use disposables are terrible for our environment.

Pulled up and just tried to pickup some family style to go containers and the staff just can’t explain what the hell our options are. They don’t have the classic boxes, just trays. You tell them what you want and they get you all confused with the sizes. Did y’all change owners? This place was so good but now incompetent people have taken over and they have no clue how to serve their customers. Awful. Best of luck, that’s good bye from me.

This Chinese restaurant serves great authentic Chinese food that I usually love to have whenever I went out for more dinner options back in China. I ordered Cucumber, Black Fungus and Beancurd Robes Salad and Spicy Szechuan Fish Soup with Pickled Greens (or Suan Cai Yu in Chinese). The salad was fresh and delicious, and I get to choose the spicy level for the fish soup since I don’t like having spicy food with too much chili in it. The fish slices in the fish soup is thin enough to make it very tender, and the Szechuan pepper in there bites your tongue mildly, making it a pretty exciting feeling when having the food. If I have to name anything else that can be further improved, then my preference on thinner beancurd robes over thicker ones can be one of the few. But overall it was a great eat there in this local restaurant.
The interior is clean and cool enough, and the staff there are very nice and friendly when serving tourists like me. I felt like I could always have some comfort food like this to cure my homesickness in the States.
