The food is priced right! The portions are perfect and very good! The food is served in a very timely manner, and it’s always hot! The service could be better, it’s fairly hit and miss, but I’ve also had worse service many other places. It’s one of the cleanest dining establishments around, including the bathroom!

This place is clean, well lit, and comfortable. Friendly and knowledgeable service from young staff. Cod and steamed vegetables we’re cooked well. Chicken was overcooked. Combo of bacon, mushroom and honey mustard was tasty. Homemade chips we’re perfectly seasoned. Deserts looked amazing. The bourbon pecan pie was decadent.

First time experience and last. Very very dissatisfied. Went out for a birthday dinner, which was served with cold mashed potatoes, ordered the New York Strip rare-served well done and also cold. The kids cheese burger slider was crunchy and hard with about 10 french fries. Ordered prime rib- recieved a rack of ribs instead. Sent the ribs back to get the ordered original meal and steak came bloody, when my son had ordered it well done the first time. Because of the mess up we were there about 2hrs.

The service was great. The food was not up to par. The open face sandwich was way too salty, I complained and they said they were going to make new gravy and that the cook stated it was too salty as well. A new plate came out and it was still way too salty. The waitress stated that the batch they made must just be too salty, no new gravy. The owner was drinking at the bar side and she was aware of how dissatisfied I was, the waitres said would you like me to get her, I stated I would like her to taste the gravy. She walked back to the kitchen with her mixed drink in her hand, she never came over to apologize never came over to say you are right or we made a new batch. No response from the owner. Very dissatisfied this time around, I will not be returning to this place.

Daniel’s has gone down in quality and offerings in the last ten years. The food is decent (we had the fish – broiled and battered each) and the salad bar is okay as well. We have had some really good soups a few years ago but they have since dropped it to only one type on the salad bar and it typically is simple like chicken noodle . I have had a barbeque pork soup there before and it was surprisingly delicious. That was the draw for me but not so much any more. It has turned into an average restaurant… sadly.

First time here and never again. Staff are nice and prompt, but food quality is worse than a chain restaurant. Salad bar was basic but adequate, lettuce was a pre mix and tasted like old package lettuce. Coleslaw was old actually rancid tasting.

Ok. This place is just getting going as a new business, but, wow, the employees need to pick it up. There was only one server for a dozen tables at dinner rush. The hostess wasn’t doing ANYTHING except talking with her friends and acting disaffected with her job. The cooks were on their phones ignoring the fryers. We waited a good 45minutes to get our meals. 20minutes for drinks. Didn’t get asked about desert, the server slapped us with the bill and was begging for us to leave with her body language: no smile, no thank yous, no manners. This place needs to step it up if it wants to survive. Never coming back here again.

Stopped to eat there. Tables and booths empty but not cleared. Very obvious they did not want business. Said it would be a 30 minute wait and there sat uncleared empty tables. Website says no wait. Would have gladly waited for them to clear a table. Never have come across service like this. Probably will never try again. Now at the Wildwood in Byron. Wow what a difference of serving us.
