I had a really great meal here with my friends. Everything we had was delicious. I got a chopped brisket sandwich with sweet potato fries. The brisket was tender and moist. It was cooked to perfection. We also had cheddar cornbread, salads, creamy spinach and chicken. The server was really good. There was ample seating indoors and outdoors as well for a smaller business. Wheelchair accessible and half a block away from the Islip train station.

I had a fantastic experience at this BBQ spot! Our waiter, John, was excellent—attentive and friendly. The portions were incredibly generous, and the food arrived piping hot. The drinks were strong and delicious. Overall, I left very satisfied and would definitely recommend this place. A solid 10/10!

What a great find. Have been meaning to come here for a while and finally made it in. First, Claire our server/greeter was so friendly and welcoming, she had a great way about her. The manager behind the bar was really friendly as well.

I loved the juicy brisket platter and my niece had some amazing looking burrito with brisket in it. The sides were homemade and delicious. This place was awesome!! Much better than Smokin Al’s.

Dang is one of my favorite restaurants on LI. Great atmosphere, service is awesome, reasonable prices and the food is insanely good. The Alabama White boneless wings are my favorite thing I’ve tried so far but everything pictured here is delicious. I love that you can make your own milkshake by combining flavors so I did a peanut butter banana shake – SO YUMMY. The only negative thing I can say is that it makes me want to eat so much to the point of feeling sick – which is a compliment. If you’re on the fence, this is your sign to go here!!!

My husband wanted to stay home for Fathers Day so ordering some great BBQ from Dang’s was the right choice. We ordered the Pitmaster Feast and it was perfect to feed my daughter and her husband too. So the four of us ate WELL! We got a little of everything!! Tony was awesome in helping me order the day before. Such a great place -and even picking up the food the staff was so warm and welcoming. Yesterday was our 2nd time going to Dang Bbq and it was great. Our server Mechele was amazing and remembered us from a few weeks before. We both got 3 little pigs (smoked sausage, pulled bbq pork and half rack of ribs). I got Mac and cheese and coleslaw for sides which was really good. For app we got the pulled pork and bacon jam empanadas. Love the free fresh potato chips. Mechele was great with letting us know what is good on the menu and she is very funny.

This place USED to be soooo good….. today I paid $26.10 for and APPETIZER of burnt ends…. half of the were solid FAT…. Please ser attached pictured where you’ll see that the food itself, including the container, weighs LESS than a pound….. for $26 again, lots of fatty pieces of fat and a ton of French fried onions…. basically I paid $26 for like 8 oz of decently cooked meat….. NEVER AGAIN

This was my first visit and the food was DELISH!!! Absolutely loved the pulled pork and burnt ends. Our server, Marisa, was AMAZING! Super attentive and proactive. Sweet & positive attitude. She truly made the experience here better. DEFINITELY will be back again.

I have been patronizing this restaurant for a few years now and continue to go back when the opportunity presents itself to do so. I have recommended this place to others without regret and heard positive reviews afterwards. The food is always fresh, tasty, and certainly priced reasonably, the service is always good. The owner, Anthony, and GM, Tony (yes, different people) are very critical of their restaurant and take any feedback seriously.

The ribs with the sweet sauce was very good. Giant appetizer was worth it as it was crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside.
The smokehouse lasagna was good though a little heavy on the cheese which covered the flavors of the meat.
