Ribs are back on the menu in East Moline! The power house behind the East Moline Jim’s Ribs is back, and he brought a few new creations with him. In addition to the staples, and the fantastic sauce, a few new items are on the menu, notibly the BBQ Spaghetti and BBQ Tacos. I didn’t know I needed my Spaghetti to be rich and smokey, but now there is no going back.

We tried the rack of pork ribs, the BBQ mac, BBQ tacos, beans and potato-salad. All were excellent and I would order again. The ribs exceeded my expectations. The ends of the bones stuck out and could be pulled out with negligible force and no mess. The boneless remainder was easy to cut with a fork. The BBQ tacos had a nice balance of cole-slaw with the meat and tortilla. The potato salad was bright yellow with sweet-relish dominating the flavor. The atmosphere is nothing special but the food was great.

Small Menu but great meal. The BBQ menu isn’t anything fancy, but bbq doesn’t have to be. I got a two piece chicken, mild, with a side of potato salad. The potato salad was good, very mustard heavy, just wasn’t like I wanted from a potato salad. The chicken however was fantastic. It went well with the sauce and had a great smokey flavor on the skin. Next time we are in Moline we will have to try some more of the menu selection.

Never had this until recently the decor on the inside is so homey and clean. The environment is relaxed and chilled. The plants inside give the environment a fresh feel to it! The ribs were amazing the mild sauce was delicious but the beans are my favorite! Jalapeño flavor without the heat! Sign me up! Will definitely return! Great bbq!
