The ice cream I had here was good. The food on the other hand is bad. They only have hotdogs and they are put into a microwave and served. The bread was all rubbery. This occurred July 29, 2023 about 9:30pm. And Wendy’s next door is not good either. Threw my food away. I eat in restaurants all day every day and this was the worst. Both restaurants have bad food.

This is the truck stop in oak grove. It has a dairy queen and wendy’s inside. They have some cool things for sale. Lots of nfl stuff for all teams. Cute pj’s, stuffed animals, glass figurines, t-shirts, things that truckers need and so much more.

I stood in front of the counter at the dairy queen, no one was there behind the counter. I heard a young lady speaking loudly like a little schoolgirl next door at the Wendy’s. She was bragging about how much work she does over at the Dairy Queen, while neglecting to wait on a customer standing at the counter and she’s doing said bragging. She looked at my Waze several times, and never did it dawn on her that I was waiting to place in order. I guess this is what happens when you place adolescence in charge of running a business with no proper supervision. Will not be returning.

Got a cherry chocolate chip blizzard. It was delicious. And they actually turned it upside down before they handed it to me. Just like in the commercial. I have had concretes from pretty much everywhere that sells them but the DQ one was really good. And it wasn’t already half melted when I got it. Hence turning it upside down. And had plenty of toppings. Kind of a pain to get to because it’s in the truck stop, but well worth the effort. I’m probably going to be a regular.
