This is my family favorite ice cream shop. My favorite is Brownie Oreo cup fiction. My daughter and wife love the ice cream varieties here. If you want to treat yourself with a sweet right after lunch or dinner, I highly recommend this place.

The blizzards and everything else is delicious. Still tastes like it did years ago. Service was fast and friendly. The only negative I have about them and other places like them is that when you get a blizzard or milkshake they only fill the cup up about 75-80%. I hate that they do that. What if I only gave them $3.75 for a $5 product would they accept partial payment…. NO! I think they need to fill the cup up to what is expected.

Unfortunately the experience was anything but enjoyable at Dairy Queen, in Aston. We waited over 15 mins in line at the drive-thru, finally we were one car away from the window and that poor guy’s order was wrong. We waited another 8 mins for it to be our turn. The employee literally walked away from the window with our order in his hands to goof off with another employee. By the time we got our order of 2 blizzards, they were a melting mess AND to add insult, my order was wrong! I ordered heath and got M&M! Staff needs a better system. Where is management?

This place is my guilty pleasure. My wife and I live locally we will sneak off in the evening to grab a dipped cone. It is often busy but they always do a good job of keeping the line moving so it never feels too long of a wait. If you haven’t been there for some reason make sure you find time to go…..especially for this summer.

Horrible. Used to be good but ever since they renovated, every visit has been horrible. Idk if it’s new owners or what. Today was the last straw. The blizzards were so melted the girl looked afraid to turn them upside down, and barely did. Proceeded to make a mess in my car.

So after 4 or 5 times of having blizzards with about 1 Reese’s peanut butter cup in it and only at the top of the cup, I’ve decided to write a review. I would like to add that I ask for and pay for extra Reese’s peanut butter cups with every purchase. After reading some reviews I see that I’m definitely not the only one that has had this issue. I also know that it’s not the same person making them. Whoever trained these individuals making the blizzards need to show them the real way for what me and others pay for. When I say that there was maybe 1 full Reese’s cup in a large blizzard I really mean that. If I got 3 spoons fulls with very little peanut butter cup in them I’m being generous. The cups have been about 90% vanilla ice cream and the other 10% had very little flavor. It’s sad because I could go to Brusters and have plenty of peanut butter cups on my purchase. After my experience on 6-22-23 I will no longer be going to this Dairy Queen. Do better and teach the workers how to properly make a blizzard.

A small but cute Dairy Queen. They added on a drive thru and seating in the back with umbrellas so it looks like a private back porch which is cool. The options are pretty limited, the flavors they offer are basic, and they don’t have food or pastries like the bigger Dairy Queen’s. The cotton candy blizzard is fabulous! And the orange julius is really good too

If I could I would give it zero stars. I go to Aston location because it’s closest to me and they always get my blizzard orders wrong. Blizzards are made with vanilla ice cream, and they always give me chocolate ice cream. I even tell them vanilla ice cream and they still do chocolate ice cream. It’s reason why someone ask for vanilla ice cream. They don’t like chocolate ice cream.

Third time at this Dairy Queen in Aston, and my last. Each time, I ordered my favorite (Black and White milkshake), and each time they tried to give an excuse they couldn’t make it. First was, they ran out of chocolate ice cream. Then, the milk shake mixer was broke. And lastly, they ran out of the large lids for the cups. I told the girl, then I’ll take the milk shake “without” the lid. She then gave me “attitude”. I’m done! I’ve lived in Aston since the 70’s and so has Dairy Queen, and have never experienced this kind of treatment. Just Ice Cream is right down the street. See ya DQ.

This review encapsulates the last 2 experiences each time I have visited I have been treated poorly by the drive through staff. They have forgotten multiple items that I have ordered. Then when I called to ask about it I was greeted by the rude “general manager” saying that well it’s just a blizzard/ice cream and that I shouldn’t be upset for not receiving it. The employees here haven’t been trained and the managers in charge clearly haven’t been trained either.
