Please know this visit was not normal. Our experiences have all been pleasant until this one. Possibly our fault that our order was not correct. We tried to verify at the window and felt demeaned by the young lady. The first order came out cold and was replaced at her disgust. She was just rude and unfriendly to say the least. No napkins, no straws and no offer of condiments.

This is a nice sit-down indoorsy type of dairy queen. They they serve burgers and fries at this location and you can either eat outdoors drive-thru or eat inside the restaurant. My son and I came down here to have some blizzards and do some homework the reason we chose this location. The staff was very helpful and a 10 of even with the line being very busy and they made our blizzards just as they should and even held them upside down. Never had a trouble with a blizzard yet here can’t wait to try their food here sometime when I’m really hungry and I want something other than Wendy’s Burger King or McDonald’s. Edit, we had food here today and it was excellent the Hamburgers and Fries were wonderful. The staff was courteous even with a big long line waiting in the building and at the drive-thru. I got to use my $10 gift card for doing a Dairy Queen survey. Steph was courteous and nice and apologetic even with the load of work they had. Would come here again for ice cream and burgers five stars!

Very disappointed. Came for chicken strips, highly recommended from a friend says they’re the best around. Haven’t given DQ anywhere a try in the last several years. Decided why not. Braved the cold for a meal. Wish I hadn’t. I don’t know who would call these chicken strips. It was supposed to be a 6 piece meal. These are broken pieces of chicken tenders that fell to the bottom of the bag and they were too lazy to cook ones that should actually be served. Come on…..

I normally love coming here, however the last time I went there my mom and I were sitting waiting on food, mind you this was our lunch hour, and everyone else is getting food. I ask them what is going on and they say “sorry, we lost your food.” Next they came with a bag of our food which was COLD. They didn’t even have the decency to make fresh food. They just located the “lost food” and gave it to us.

Absolutely horrendous customer service. It doesn’t help that it’s mostly kids. Most of which need to be taught how to treat customers. I witnessed a younger employee berate an older gentleman when he had a simple question. They back and forth banter took so long that by the time she handed me my ice cream it was totally liquid, I nicely asked if she could remake it and she threw it against the wall in the back. Horrible

By far the slowest restaurant in Salina. Have came here 3x & every time you are waiting a minimum of 20-25 mins in the drive through. Absolutely ridiculous how slow this place operates. Then today (4.10.23) after waiting 25 mins in the drive through I have to pull forward to wait for my food. 35 mins & counting. Pathetic.
