Really nice place in Hood River. The menu is expensive and has a bunch of options. We landed on some bao buns, two bowls, and two signature sushi rolls.
Everything was fresh and had good flavor. The tuna poke bowl was packed with ingredients and was our favorite out of the bunch.
Definitely worth a try.

We stopped in Friday night for dinner and there were only us and another couple the entire time. Not a very busy place, which meant no wait. We enjoyed the Christmas music also.
The staff was incredibly helpful, quick and sweet. They treated our child like an adult, and even catered to her preference of having noodles as a side for her kids meal.
I love the variety on their menu. We ordered a beef teriyaki bowl, ahi tuna poke bowl, and a cheeseburger with noodles for the little one. I ate everything and also want to apologize for my pictures. We ate so much before I could get one!

It was pretty good. I definitely liked the sushi that I got more than the rice bowl. The rice bowl was kind of boring and had I just gotten that by itself I think I might have been pretty disappointed. It was a lot of rice, and not a lot of flavor. Their salmon that came with it was very well cooked though, and very delicious. I got a deep fried sushi roll and it was decent. Their portions were huge, and this was more than enough food for two people. I got takeout, and it took me so long to get my food I was concerned for a minute that they forgot about me.

The good news, the services is above average. This is the only reason they get a two and not a one. The bad news…. there was literally hardly any fish in my sushi roll and when I asked if that was normal he said yes. It was literally just fried rice this is likely why they have large roll portions. The second roll was not fresh tuna. It was tough and not flavorful at all. The highlight of my meal was the french fries. They might need to stick to just making burgers? I liked the taco place that use to be in this building much better. I left hungry and will not be back.

It was nice…Not spectacular. I got the Hawaiin Bowl and it was really good. Tastes were delicious. My son had a burger he loved but the potato things weren’t that great. Luke warm if that. The service was good, they were friendly and didn’t take long to get our food.

Fast, efficient and friendly service. Helpful with menu options. Staff are all wearing masks, however no outdoor seating available. Restroom was out of order and supports the neighbor’s (taco) business. I’d go back, sake and fries and sushi were affordable on a lower budget. Great spot with multiple options on the menu!

This place absolutely great! The food presentation is phenomenal and the staff made me and my family feel welcomed. And not to mention the food was fantastic! They offer many food options for those who enjoy a range of choices. Our waitress was so polite and was very helpful! This is definitely a place we’ll go to during all our vacations!

Wow! Everything we ordered was seriously sooooo good! One of the best burgers you will ever have. His patty blend is 50% wagyu and certified Angus. Very juicy and incredibly flavorful. Great service! Definitely will be back!

Wow, what a name! I was wanting to try a burger but didn’t want to leave my personal belongings behind to wash my hands (gotta get that pic for Yelp you know) so I went the Japanese route.
ATMOSPHERE:
Simple decor with bar, high & low top seating, TV’s and good street views through the big windows.
MENU:
Japanese-style bowls, salads, sushi, burgers, sandwiches.
BEVERAGE:
English Style Pale Ale – $5.75
This local brew had a medium brown-reddish color, was smooth with low bitterness.
FOOD:
House Specialty Mafa Chicken $12.75
Falling under their Teriyaki Bowls category, the chicken strips were perfectly
marinated in a sweet-savory sauce, breaded and deep fried with a light and crispy batter. The steamed rice was also perfectly fluffy and moist but the portion size was too much compared to the small amount of chicken received. Steamed veggies also topped the bowl (broccoli, cabbage, yellow zucchini). Very good!
SERVICE:
I was immediately greeted by Brayan and told to sit anywhere. He brought over a menu, gave me time to peruse and checked on me. Another male worker asked if I wanted more beer. So attentive!
OVERALL:
Legit Asian food. If for some odd reason I’m in Hood River again, they’re a definite return.
