I LOVE DAIRY QUEEN!!! The blizzards (especially the Brownie batter) are really good. I get free cakes with Dairy Queen app. Good deal! Their Reese’s blizzard cake and Choco brownie extreme blizzard cake are delicious! I love getting the chicken strip basket! Sometimes I can get $2 off a 4 piece basket with the DQ app.

$4 for crushed cheese curds and soggy old fries! And I ordered a meal and found out you can’t replace a blizzard for the drink now, after I already paid for it all! Most disappointing was the cheese curd missing its cheese and they were at the bottom of a narrow bag. And no room for the drive up here. Lady jumped in front of me while I was waiting to turn in when there was no room. Ended up going inside and waiting for food. Probably faster than drive up anyways.

The pretzels with warm zesty queso cheese sauce were great! Using the app for pickup through the drive thru made my visit super quick and painless, except on the wallet, of course, lol! Their other menu options are usually very enjoyable as well, especially the desserts. Blizzards are great for beating the heat of summer, and you can grab a dilly bar when you are feeling silly in the car!

Super disappointed. This location has always been my preferred spot and now that it’s under new ownership it has gone down hill like the other one in town. We went through the drive thru just before 8:30pm for a fall blizzard and a snack. The light was off when we pulled up so my husband didn’t order anything since he couldn’t read the menu. The gravy I got was a milky liquid (inedible) and the blizzard was not blended and barely had any of the pumpkin mix in it. The mix that was added was sitting at the top, and it was not served upside down. Spent $10 and hardly touched my food. We will not be returning.

Update new review 2025: Had to take time to change this review because since the Indians took over, wow! Complete turn around! In every aspect! Charleston Ave, 19th St locations both 10/10! Fresh, fast, incredibly polite! Can’t believe the improvements! I’ve waited a few months to be sure it was a permanent change, and consistently, the highest quality all around every time I visit! I even made online orders then gotten there a little late once or twice, they remade the food so it was fresh! Beyond courteous, because it was my fault at their inconvenience and they still did it without being asked!
Previous review: Charleston Avenue location, don’t bother. They’re extremely rude especially the night crew and I’ve had to bring food back twice now for how sloppy and lacking it was. I was shocked about a month ago at the brownie sundae thing I had paid something like $6 for. I thought it was an absolute joke. The ice cream wasn’t even a full pump onto the brownie, and the entirety of the sundae didn’t even cover 1/4 of the plastic platter it was served on, which has been consistent with other DQs as far as packaging. I know that the owner of this franchise has remote access to the cameras so my question I guess is, what is he doing about the managers and employees and their behavior towards the community that pay his bills. If you want competent employees maybe idk. Pay them enough to pay their bills or at least watch them and hold them accountable.
Also, I saw a review from a couple of months ago where the woman stated her burger was microwaved. It’s all microwaved. All burgers are microwaved at these dairy queens. Just an FYI.

Went to drive thru ordered a box of buster bars and a peanut butter parfait. As I pulled up I noticed 3 teenagers laughing and joking around like little children. It was dark so I didn’t notice the parfait when I sat it in my cup holder. Got home and it was so Nasty there was hardly any ice cream in it and what there was was completely melted. We had to throw it away. When I called to complain I told the lady they didn’t make it fresh the got it from a cooler of some kind. Spoke to a manager/owner next day she was very rude to me on the phone. She would believe a teenager not doing his job than a customer. I hope no one ever eats there again. The service is awful and they are always messing up ur order.
