The general manager John Jacobs(if that’s even his real name he gave) is one of the most rude and entitled people I’ve ever met. I received these melted banana splits. Asked for them to be remade(since they are clearly liquidy/melted) the worker informed me the chocolate ice cream has been very melty lately. So I asked if he could make them with vanilla instead or add some vanilla or something just so it didn’t feel like ice cream soup/mix in a bowl. He said he could absolutely do that for me. Waited a few minutes then received these from the manager (not the worker he was fine and nice) in a bag, to I assume cover up the fact that he hadn’t remade them and he sassed me while giving me the bag, rushing me out the drive thru line and closing the window fast before I could even say anything. I parked. I checked and of course, same ice cream as before no vanilla. I drive around again and the sassy manager is on the line, attempting to charge me more for a remake. I asked for a refund. He refused it because he was “the general manager and made it perfect”. He said it’s Florida ice cream melts. Mind you, my total time from when I got my ice cream, waited in line, had the “remake” made and drove around for the refund was a total of 10 minutes. How does ice cream melt that bad when it was supposedly remade within those 10minutes. Which is when they admitted that they didn’t remake it and it melted more while the worker who said he could remake it for me and the manager argued inside over my order while I waited for my remake. Supposedly of course since this was via the managers words. Then he shooed me away. I mean it’s clearly melted. How hard is it to just give me a refund. This isn’t “perfect” as was claimed. If you admitted to not doing a remake and also that your machines are not producing quality products, then why not give me my money back? I paid for a banana split. Not a milkshake.

This is an excellent example of Dairy Queen. The interior was recently renovated and very modern. It was very clean on the inside! The service was quick. I ordered the Chicken Box. It was good as expected. The best part about this location is the view!! You can find plenty of seats right by the window outlooking Escambia Bay. This really is a special location. I’ll definitely be coming back! Update: I have went back several times while the food is normally fairly good, the service is hit or miss. Some days it’s amazing and others it’s not. The last time I went in staff were standing around having personal conversations loudly while ignoring us for around five minutes. When the lady took our order she got over half wrong. The hot dog chili was also dark in color, and did not taste the freshest. My fries were not the freshest and were floppy. The chicken box wasn’t in a box as usual. I hope they manage to get this great location up to par with others. The one positive of this location is the cleanliness.

I love Blizzards, but today we bought the same one they gave us a week ago and it was delivered without anything. We always order strawberry cheesecake, and it was a total rip-off because it only had two blessedly small pieces of cheesecake, and my husband’s didn’t have any, not even strawberries It was a total rip-off, not even because they made a mistake with the order. We definitely won’t be coming back here.

I am disgusted by the abysmal experience I had at Dairy Queen recently. Not only was the customer service non-existent, but my order was completely wrong and missing items. To top it off, the incompetence of the staff led to them heating my cheeseburger to a scorching temperature that burned the inside of my mouth. The lack of care and attention to detail is appalling.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, the portion sizes were laughable. My daughter received literally one spoonful of ice cream in her cup. It’s disgraceful how Dairy Queen can justify charging for such minuscule servings. The utter disregard for customer satisfaction is evident in every aspect of this pitiful excuse for an establishment.

I will never set foot in Dairy Queen again after this horrendous experience. The incompetence, poor service, and lack of quality control have left a sour taste in my mouth – both literally and figuratively. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this disaster of a restaurant at all costs.

If I could give a zero I would. Not only were we back-talked to about our drinks not tasting correctly due to carbonation/syrup machinery malfunction, and were refused to be given something different to drink, but were also given attitude by the worker when we received the wrong blizzard and pointed it out to her. We ended up just getting a refund and leaving because by that point we had both disrespected each other enough. Save your money.

This is a typical Dairy Queen, Long wait for food and definitely understaffed. The staff that they did have were very accommodating and helpful as well as apologetic for the delays. I grew up in Texas and Dairy Queens were the mainstay for our fast food and always high quality and enjoyable. The new versions leave a lot to be desired

I’ve got to say, I’ve never had any issues with my orders here! Occasionally, things get mixed up with DoorDash, but that’s more on them than the restaurant. I live just five minutes away, so I come here often, and I always find the staff to be incredibly kind and helpful. One time, a wonderful employee even helped lift my son up so he could see the menu better while I was juggling a baby in my arms. That kindness really amazed me!
