Our story goes as such….. It became the Ocean Beach Hotel in 1950, when it was purchased by United Distillers Ltd. In 1995, it was purchased by the Veltri family and continued to be operated as the Ocean Beach Lounge until 2013. In 2020, the Veltri’s rebranded to The Ocean Beach | Crafts Drafts Eat. We bring together a special energy of people who are passionate about the hospitality industry. Expect to be greeted with a smile , and then delighted with craft cocktails with a culinary dining experience. Its the craft experience you can count on every visit.

Good atmosphere, bad food and worst service . We came here for lunch and left most of our food . Crispy potato stand on the beach would have been better lunch option . Service never even asked why we left most of our food uneaten nor did they ask if we need to refill our drinks .

The Ocean Beach Crafts, Drafts & Eats is a solid spot if you’re looking for a relaxed place to grab a drink. I tried a few beers from their craft selection and they were really good — especially the raspberry one, which stood out and was something different from the usual options.
One issue I had was with the kitchen hours. When I arrived, I specifically asked if the kitchen was open because I was planning to eat more than just drink. I was told yes and was given menus, but when I was ready to order, the waitress informed me the kitchen had already closed and they hadn’t been told earlier. That was disappointing.
Aside from that, everything else was good. It’s more on the calm, laid-back side of the bar spectrum, but still a decent hang overall.

This is a good option if you’re short on time in White Rock. Greeted and seated quickly even with them being almost full and very busy.
The menu has great selection and a lots of options for happy hour.
Tried the Pulled Pork Sliders and Chicken Tacos for happy hour. Beers came out quickly and the food arrived shortly after. If you’re in a rush you could be in and out in fifteen minutes.
Friendly and attentive service from the staff coming around and I never felt like they were annoyed or overwhelmed even with it being busy and loud.
If you can snag a patio seat it’s a nice view outside to the water. Prices were very reasonable. Definitely recommended.

We had an absolute wonderful time! Staff is unbelievable nice, food was delicious, and drinks were amazing! All 7 of us ordered different items and each were equally great! Good pricing and the atmosphere was perfect. Highly, highly recommend!

After spending a day, searching for shells, we were excited to experience the seaside restaurants, and I’m glad we picked this one. The food was amazing. The staff were attentive. We chose to sit outside and it was warm when it did get a little chilly we had blankets from the staff. Serving portions were amazing for their happy hour menu, and the beer is local red truck, which went down perfectly with what we were eating overall 11 out of 10.

We hosted our work Christmas party at Ocean Beach Restaurant and had a great time! The service was wonderful, and the manager (?) Tallyn was extremely accommodating, attentive, and genuinely cared that everything ran smoothly. The atmosphere was perfect for a celebration, and our entire team felt well taken care of. Highly recommend for group events or special occasions — we’ll definitely be back!
