I️ typically go to dairy queen often. Stopped at this one headed from VA and it was amazing! Everything was fresh and thick— my icecream wasnt runny etc.

There is a lady who works at this location. I wish I knew her name. She was there around 10:00 AM this past Sunday. I have a very painful hip and knee injury and was struggling to walk. She saw I was parked in front of Dairy Queen, which I don’t believe was open yet. I used the restroom from the convenience store side and was sitting in the chairs by the window. She came up to me and offered to let me exit through Dairy Queen instead of the convenience store since it was a shorter walk. There are no words for how much I appreciate her kindness. She didn’t have to do that. I’m so, so grateful. Next time I drive to Florida, I’m going to make sure to stop in and thank her again. It’s those acts of kindness that make life bearable. She was like a guardian angel to me. Please, if you know who I am referring to, leave her name in your response. Thank you!

The onion rings were good and fried perfectly. Not too hard and not too soft. The batter on the onion rings was the perfect combination of sweet and savory. The ice cream is always good and creamy. Never disappoints. There is a fried fish sandwich available too. The fam likes this sandwich also. The chicken fingers were good and rounded out the lunch meal. Good eating for cheap. The service here was fast too.

They have their own review process but you can’t review them if you don’t have a receipt. That’s the problem! I don’t have a receipt because I spent 12 minutes waiting without being spoken to. Two cashiers working the window. One apparently responsible for those in the store. She was not very good at that. She either needs training or more help. The least she could have done was acknowledge I was there.

Do not order a birthday cake here, they will not have it ready on time. I ordered this cake in store FIVE days in advance, and I waited there (not exaggerating) 45 minutes just for the specific person who does cakes to come take my order. On the day the cake was due, when I came to pick it up, the woman could not find my cake anywhere. She was visibly upset talking to her coworker in the back, “sh*t, they didn’t make her cake”, she told me she’ll just make it herself and she took my order all over again. She said it’ll take a few hours and to come back later, but the party was already about to start! So, sadly we couldn’t have any cake at the birthday party. And the worst part is, that evening when we came back to finally pick it up, all they had to say was “we forgot”. And the cake was NOT made correctly, it was literally just some ice cream with frosting on it!? It was very strange. I regret not taking a picture or asking for a refund. I never leave negative reviews on anything because I know stuff happens, but this is the worst service I’ve ever had and it messed up the party. Just a huge disappointment.

Employees did not interact with customers other than taking their money. It was like the entire staff did not want to be there. My wife and our children ended up walking out.

Stopped in while we were refueling and wanted to order a couple shakes. The girl behind the counter said hello and walked away and didn’t come back. I finally just left. I probably never go to another Dairy Queen.
