I have been a reoccurring customer for a while and was disappointed with my last order. It was wrong, and had missing items but when I took the lid off of my Mango Lassi to add ice, I was so thankful I did because I was shocked to find MOLD!!!!!

Obviously it’s not made fresh. Who knows how long it had been sitting, the smell was potent.
If you’re going to pre-make items, there must be a system in place, because had I not decided to add ice as I always do, I would have gulped down the biggest drink of that!!

As others have noted the wait time here is inordinately long. To the point that my partner and I always joke before ordering, saying something like ‘well, do you want to wait an hour?’ The atmosphere of the space itself is nothing impressive, either. However and with that said, the food here is, in our opinion, absolutely fantastic. I moved to como 5 years ago and my partner said this was their favorite Indian in town. I’ve yet to eat Indian anywhere else in the city. Fantastic flavor and spice across all the dishes. I love their cheese naan and my partner prefers the garlic. Mataar paneer is 10/10.

We came in 10 minutes after they opened and we ordered butter chicken and palak paneer. We waited about 16 minutes and the food came out amazing. Was hot so once we traveled it was at the perfect temp. It was our first time and she graciously gave us a free drink and naan. The portions are amazing and make it all worth it. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Food took forever to make while I waited. Substandard, over salted, greasy. Overpriced. The Indian food at Aldi‘s tastes better. I had to bring it home drain the grease off of it and had to add spices to make it taste like something. The best part of the meal was the white rice. The butter chicken did not even taste like butter chicken. I’ve had Indian food around the world and this was the second worst that I’ve ever had. Didn’t even taste like Indian food. And why the heck can’t they allow you to sit there and eat? I’m not sure how they stay in business. Last year when I was in town, we came by to eat, and they still weren’t seating people inside because of the pandemic so we didn’t get food there. They lost our money that time. Information online today indicated that they were open and had dining, but when I got There, I wasn’t allowed to eat in the restaurant. I should’ve walked away, but instead, I got stuck with this nasty stuff. It won’t happen again. I’m sorry, but good Indian food does not have grease floating on top. Disgusting.

I am unsure how this place is even open. When you walk in, it looks as if it has been out of business for a month. Artwork on the floor, junk everywhere, trashy furniture collecting dust. I was only getting sides because I had leftovers of my entree from another Indian restaurant located out of town… I did not think it was possible for a restaurant to make such a horrible impression on so little. I waited for 45 minutes for sides, which is ridiculous. The rice was more like sticky rice from Chinese cuisine, and the cheese naan was greasy and weirdly moist? Would never order anything from here ever again.

Love that this local favorite has moved to Parkade Plaza. Easier parking and access for those not going downtown. Recently I had the Vegetarian Plate and it was awesome! There are always left overs and the naan is baked to perfection. The meal for two I had three weeks earlier was also a great meal that I was still eating four days later and it the spices got even better! I ate inside, but saw many people doing pick up for meals and catering!

I ordered online through Uber eat. Food wasn’t as expected at all. Beriyani was the worst of all that I ordered in my life. Had no normal additives other than food coloring. The lamb chops ( supposed to be clay oven grilled) came dry , overcooked and if not mistaken rewarmed. Salmon Curry was reasonable although missing seasoning too. I like to won’t and won’t recommend anyone to eat from here.

I love their food. We get delivery usually, occasionally pick-up. My go-to meals for the family are the vegetarian options. The food is ACTUALLY spicy if you want it to be, flavorful, and the portions are enough to have 2-3 meals. My only criticism is that the actual restaurant could use a sprucing up.
